Need Advice on Driving Traffic...

I've settled on my first "niche" market and I've built the website structure. I'm currently at the point where I'm starting to write content (quality content that answers the questions I believe my audience has).

I'm not worried about products at the moment - I'm either going to sell a booklet or find some affiliate products.

My question right now is: How are people going to know about my website?

Basically, how do I drive traffic to my website where I can start to collect my email list, etc, etc. I realize this is a broad question and there are tons of ideas. I guess I just don't want to miss a step or overlook something glaringly important.

I'm more interested in organic traffic vs paid traffic, but I'd love to hear what everyone has to say. My ideas at the moment are to determine keywords (and long tail keywords) and create content around those. I'm assuming if the content is good and there is enough of it center on those keywords, I will eventually get ranked in Google and that's when people will start to see my website. Thoughts?

You're thinking in the right way. Getting organic traffic to your website starts with making high-quality content designed for relevant keywords. But you should improve your website for search engines, build backlinks, share your content on social media, and optimize your content for keywords.

It takes time to get traffic from free sources. Don't think that things will change right away. Just keep making good content and pushing your website, and you will see results at some point.

It's great that you decided on a niche and started
building your website, but the questions that you
are seeking answers to regarding traffic, those
are things that take most people years to learn,
and the best way to learn them is by doing.

The honest answer to your question regarding
people knowing about your website is that they
may never know about it. You can spend months
developing your site, your email sequence, your
giveaways, etc. and generate no interest in it
at all. Or it could be a huge success.

You cannot predict what your Google rankings
    will be. It's impossible.

If you have developed a step-by-step process for
yourself to follow, then complete your tasks and
move to the next step. Revise your steps as you
go along, eliminate steps that are unnecessary
and add steps that you think are important.

I encourage you to browse through some of the
8,000+ existing threads about traffic here on the
WarriorForum. You can learn a lot by reading
    what has already been discussed.

Okay. I told you in your other thread that ChatGPT
can develop your steps and procedures.

Unless you bought a book that gives instructions,
don't try to re-invent the wheel, especially if you
        lack experience.

This part concerns me a little bit. You're writing content that answers the questions you believe your audience has. But what if they don't actually care about the things you're writing about?

Better to hang out where your audience is actually at, observe and engage with them, and write your content around the questions you know they have.

    Just a suggestion...

Your job right now, other than creating content, is to be seen by the people you can serve.

Go back to my first answer. Find out where your market hangs out, observe and engage.

If you become known, liked and trusted, some of those people will want to know more, and they will not only visit your site, they will also tell others about you.

Organic traffic will happen slowly. Like planting a seed in the garden. Plant the seed... nurture it... and it will grow. Depending on the soil and fertilizer you utilize, it may grow fast or slow.
