A rule that always holds true!

Any content that can provide a good user experience will be prioritized for distribution (lower CPM).
So, what constitutes a good experience?
  • High CTR
  • High engagement rate
  • High customer retention rate
-> As usual, entertainment content, experience sharing, scandals, etc., are the types of content people love to see.
-> But they will be harder to convert.
What about ads with high conversion rates?
It would be sales, product introductions... Conversion will be easier. However, it also brings a less pleasant experience.
Therefore, to create good content, you need to balance these two factors.
For example:
Instead of using this approach: I offer advertising services that can help you increase your revenue by 5 times.
We should use this: What secret helped ABC increase their sales by 5 times in 3 months?
In summary, you should provide what they want to see. However, it must be directly related to your product.

You lose me right after the word 'secret.'

If it's a secret, you don't know it. If you know it, it's not a secret, just an attempt to steal a couple of minutes from me.

    Also, who prioritizes?

Because you find a lot of good content on page 3 or 17, better than any of the content on page 1.

You should have well-presented, useful content. But you need SEO (and not just the onepage part) to get it seen. Or some kind of ad campaign.

A good experience varies by niche. "Open 24-hours" and a phone number on a plumbing website is all that's needed to make it a good experience for someone who has a sink leak at 10pm on a Saturday.

    • Thanks for sharing!
I think that's from your point of view, from the person who has experience and knowledge about this. As a customer or whoever needs information, 3 - 5 mins does that much to see if there's anything useful. No one knows everything, that's what i learn when i do a research about customer insight.
I know that there are many better ways, i just showed one.
P/s: speaking of SEO, when it comes to online marketing, SEO is like one of the most important one.

    This is an informative post.

We should appeal to people's desire for useful information.

As to your example, people always want to know secret tidbits.

Whether you are writing about beauty secrets or money secrets,
that's a number one attention grabbing word because people will
always want to know something they perceive as exclusive.

    • Yeah, that's how we do. Customers are not too hard to understand, but we need to stay focus and do a real research about them.
