I know this forum has very few web3 marketers, but since you are an expert in internet marketing and I am relatively new to web3 advertising, I would like to know your thoughts. What do you believe are the best practices for running ads, not only in the web3 space but also on other platforms, to maximize ROI? It would be great if you could suggest any industry benchmarks or data that could help me grow. Thank you!

You know how it goes--sometimes you dive right into using AI, only to realize you forgot to put your personal spin on the text. Right?

Since Web3 is relatively new, you may need to innovate,
not question what other people are doing.

Also, discern the difference between A.I.-generated posts
        and actual experienced marketers.

        A.I. will tell you anything.

The best way to run ads for a Web3 project is by leveraging crypto-friendly platforms like Twitter, Reddit, and Discord, along with influencer collaborations and community engagement. Focus on educational content, targeted PPC campaigns and NFT/metaverse partnerships to reach the right audience.

Running ads for a Web3 project is tough. Google and Meta make it a nightmare with their restrictions. Even if you get ads approved, conversions are usually bad.

What it's been working so far, is finding Web3 users that already hang out. Twitter and Reddit are solid for organic reach but for paid ads Web3 native platforms perform way better.
EtherMail for example has an ad platform where users opt in to receive promos so you are hitting engaged people not random users who ignore ads.
Other options are Coinzilla Adshares or running referral and airdrop campaigns but those can get overrun with bots if not done right.

I would suggest skipping traditional ad platforms focus on Web3 native solutions and target people who actually want to engage.

I think yes, cause Web3 shifts power from centralized entities (like big tech companies) to individuals. This means more control over your data, privacy, and online interactions. Not only that, you truly own your digital assets, whether it's cryptocurrency, NFTs, or even your online identity. This is a game-changer for creators, businesses, and users alike. It's creating entirely new ways to earn, interact, and collaborate. Web3 opens doors to innovative business models, like decentralized finance (DeFi), play-to-earn gaming, and tokenized communities.

It's not critical for everyone yet--traditional web still dominates--but its relevance is growing fast. Your need for it depends on your goals and audience.

Running ads for a Web3 project? Start with crypto-friendly platforms like Coinzilla or Bitmedia since Google and Meta can be tricky. Use influencers on X and crypto newsletters like Milk Road to get real reach. Keep ads simple and lead people to clear landing pages. Retarget users on Reddit or X, and track ROI with UTM links and on-chain tools like Dune. Web3 is all about the right crowd, not just volume.

For web3 traffic, you need to target right crypto-related users via multiple platforms and channels like twitter, discord, coinzilla etc..

We once did ads for Facebook and Google display, the CTR is around 0.5%-2% only, I have friends doing Twitter CTR came t0 1%-3%.

Usually we use urgency and scarcity ad words when adverting like limited NTF mint, early-bird token sale. Conversion rate for such ads may be around 1%-5%.
