But the problem is: it's not making money.

There's no issue with traffic -- people are visiting, reading, clicking around. The issue is monetization. Ad placements bring in almost nothing. No one's clicking. Attempts to sell a small digital product didn't take off either. Visitors don't convert, don't subscribe, don't buy.

I don't want to turn the site into a big project. The goal is to keep it low-effort, maybe even prepare it for sale later. But without any income, it's hard to show value. I've thought about adding affiliate links or downloadable checklists, but even that feels like a shot in the dark when the audience isn't engaging.

Has anyone dealt with this before -- niche dating content that ranks, but brings no return? What small changes actually helped you start earning without overhauling everything?

The days of setting up a single website and experiencing
fantastic results are over, unless you have a unique product
and/or you are a wizard at marketing.

If you want a profitable website, the whole thing needs to be
set up for that from the beginning, including the domain name,
content/niche, and how you will monetize it.

    Not as an afterthought.

A site like yours should be promoting flower delivery services,
chocolate candy, jewelry, perfume, pajamas, etc.

If you are doing anything differently, then take my advice and
    change it.

If you haven't already done so, read a book and learn about
developing websites, it's an actual business and should be
    treated as such.

Well how much traffic do you have ? Some people have 30 views per day and they expect to make good money

Sometimes you just need more traffic to get sales as this its also a numbers game

I think you should try also youtube as i finding better for conversion plus it ranks faster than google plus it spark emotion who its very important in buying process

You can transform your blog articles into videos using invideo ,fliki etc so in this way you will not depend only on blog traffic

An increase in traffic to a site that doesn't provide value will not convert into sales, no matter the numbers.

Paleking, do you use AI extensively in your content? Who are you specifically targeting as a buyer? Single teens, Single divorced moms? The thirty and over crowd? Windows? Each group listed is a different target of buyers.

Your website may not generate revenue despite high traffic due to problems such as unoptimized monetization methods, low user engagement, inadequate conversion strategies, or a mismatch between your content and audience interests.

Since you cannot post your website here, I am guessing that your site is:

    1. Really hard to navigate through.

    2. Really slow for users. (Check yours with GTMetrix)

    3. Too many/0 affiliate links.

    4. Poorly designed website that makes people RUN AWAY.

To have a successful money generating website for an information product, you have to hit 10's on three primary metrics.

On a one to 10 rating, you might ask some visitors to rate your site, since they aren't buying, give a few away in exchange for a short survey.

The 3 metrics are; Product, Prospect and Promotion. Don't overcomplicate, but do get very specific.

WHO are your visitors now and where do they come from? How do they rate as prospects?

My initial guess, without knowing anything about your site, is, you have not narrowed down your prospect.

First dates for who? College students? Seniors? Vast difference, eh? First dates for Professionals? For Christians, Jews, Muslims?

NOT all first date ideas will MATCH any given specific target. So again, how is the traffic being generated? They may have enough interest to take a look but you don't OFFER any specific information for them...see?

    I bet your PROSPECT IS a 1 or 2.

OR, your promotion, once the traffic gets there, you lose them, why? Again, you have failed to target their specific wants/needs. So, they flee.

OR they see your PRODUCT and it sux, in their minds. Why? Because they find a reason why it is not for them, and most visitors to ANY web site selling something, have a tendency to look for reasons NOT to buy, and most find them.

I would wager your overall score to be a 12-15, when you need at least a 27 (10 x 3= 30) to have a chance of building a profitable INFORMATION selling web site...and this comes from 30 years of testing and selling scores of information products online.

Better find out quickly how to fix all 3 of these elements, or you have wasted time and have not created anything of value and it will never sell, or sell at a minimum cost.

P.S. The fact you have ADS on the site, shows a very amateur approach too. You are distracting them from your product...adding affiliate links and ads will not (in my opinion) help, it will hurt the overall money making effort. Sell your product, and put any back ends in the fulfillment part.

You definitely don't want to add a bunch of random links and make your site look spammy .

You are getting traffic but no one is converting. ,so It sounds like they aren't interested or they have their reservations about buying your products .

You might want to build a email funnel to collect their emails on the front end and sell to them on the back end after you've warmed them up .

Trust is key in buying and selling.

I would like to know how did you come to the conclusion that your content is good ?

Did you get feed back from your website visitors to confirm that ?
