I'd say after 20+ hours, you could say you have a decent understanding of it, but a far cry from being an expert.

Good Point, I said that because I meet people who opened an Adwords account, spent a few hours learning, then say it doesn't work and they lost a lot of money.

Successful people don't measure their time against their revenue.

12 years ago I had a partner who wanted me to buy him out because in his words "I can make more money cutting lawns that I can with this business."

I bought him out quickly. In hindsight it was a stupid move on his part. When starting any new venture you will likely have to work your butt off for no money in the beginning. If you look to your time is worth a certain dollar amount per hour it's because you've been conditioned to do so by your job mentality.

And i found that some of the warrior have mentioned successful IM don't spend time on forums like this. That is really wierd...

Great Point Nick, if you aren't getting sales, split test it with two different squeeze/landing pages. Especially if you are on Adwords.
