List of Non-IM Niches

Hey Warriors,

Is there a way I can get an exhaustive list of non-IM niches
that I will research from.

I think IM is a choking niche for newbies

Often a niche can be as narrow as one product, so going through something like clickbanks extensive listing would be a start.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

Most people are not going to give you a list of niches to promote. You have to get out there and find out what people are looking for. There are some niches I promote that I would never tell anyone about. I don't want to increase my competition!

Very few people will give something like that away. Just look around web sites that sell stuff (e-bay, amazon, clickbank, or even offline stuff like magazines) and see what sells, do research for competition in that niche, and if you think you can get traffic, go for it.

It is a challenge to sell internet marketing products to internet marketers, yet a lot of money is repeatedly made doing just that by certain folks, over and over again.

I don't blame you for wanting to tackle other niches. Three lucrative areas are pets, health, and gardening. Yes there is a lot of competition for those (and it's hardly a groundbreaking revelation on niches), but the market is there (based on where my 6006LE money is coming from).

Another way to find niches is looking at people's important needs, such as eating, having shelter, surviving a loss of any kind, being healthy, beautiful, prosperous, creative.....that sort of thing. Make a list of subniches and possible audiences and you should have several niches in practically no time.

You've received a lot of great advice already.

But if you're looking for a big list of non 'make money online' niche markets that'll just about fit on one computer screen then you could do a lot worse than :

Shopping.com - Find, Compare, and Buy Anything in Seconds

Here you'l find emerging trends, hidden treasure troves and it's also great for tapping into existing demand. Click on any category to find the top searches and most popular keyword searches for each category.

    Hope this helps.

    Garry.

GoingSomewhere - Here is my advice to you and everyone else reading this thread.

One of the best places to look for niches I have found is scanning through lists of websites for sale.

An ideal place to do this is at flippa.com. At flippa they have a range of sites for sale, and a list of sites sold.
You can find a potential goldmine of niches if you look carefully enough.

    Hope this helps,
    Brandon

If you check out ezinearticles blog here:

Article Writing & Marketing Insights – EzineArticles Blog

and scroll down they have most viewed articles, and most published articles.

      Most Viewed Articles (most viewed)

These lists give you some pretty hot niches -mainly weight loss and sex. You can see they are pretty hot by the amount of times people have clicked on them (which is given as a stat next to the article). If you click and read the article, at the bottom are lists of similar articles. The articles may give you some ideas as to sub-niches within these niches. For example, one article "what is an adult ear infection" and another "how to increase your penis size", makes me think that picking something embarassing that people turn to the internet to find out about (rather then talking to people) would be a good niche. Maybe for example toenail fungus, yeast infections, flatulence. This is just an example - the articles may give you inspiration.

      All the best
