Where is best to start?

As you've no doubt discovered through your reading, there are lots of money-making models you can choose from (such as being an affiliate, creating your own product, etc). Your first step is to choose the model you'd like to use.

Many people choose to create their own products, since that tends to give you the most profits and control. However, you can do other things to earn while you learn, such as setting up a blog and a newsletter so that you can sell affiliate products. In other words, you make money doing these things while you're creating your first product.

Now, regardless of which model you choose, you need to start in the same place...

Find a hungry market first.

Some people start by creating a product first and then looking for people to sell it too. That's backwards. Find a market first -- a market that's already buying stuff -- and then figure out what to sell to them.

Generally, that means you find out what they're already buying... and you give them more of the same.

There are several ways to do this. For example:

-- Go to Clickbank.com and see what types of products are the bestsellers. (You can look on Amazon too.)

-- Go to Google and see what products people are paying to advertise via Google AdWords. People don't keep plunging money into ads that aren't profitable.

-- See what kinds of products the "big dogs" in your market are promoting. If they're consistently promoting a certain type of product, then that's a pretty good indicator that there's a demand for it.

-- Visit your niche's forums and see what types of products everyone is talking about and promoting.


And so on.

Since I don't know exactly what you want to do or where you're starting from, I'll stop there. Give us a little more info and we can guide you in the right direction.

I made my first dollars with video marketing (I won't tell you the exact niche), but it was kinda grey hat though...

I think the best way to start would be affiliate marketing + article marketing.

Decent articles come cheap these days, and there are millions of niches to choose from, from stretch mark creams to world of warcraft manuals (ummm... these are pretty good niches actually, lol)

I agree 110% with Ian above... you give something of value, create a list and sell someone elses products. Personally I'd more inclined to mention the Clickbank product on the download page or in follow up emails instead of instantly redirecting them... (just because I hate it) but it's the results that matter most... so see what works.

Anyway, you are at the right place.

Find what you are most interested in, and get started.

For example, if you love writing. Perhaps you can start writing for individuals as well as companies.

Love marketing, you might want to try affiliate marketing.

In the bottom line, find a niche you love and stick with it.

If I were you, I'd start with learning how to build a basic site, install a squeeze page and sales page...once you have the technical knowledge, the road ahead will be MUCH easier and you won't get stalled for lack of being able to do your own thing as far as setup.

Just for my understanding what kind of income/money does these models prouce full time working. 1) let say affliate others product (b) with my product 3) any other models.......
I also see lot of people offering free training like the one i saw yesterday on a traffic exchange where the advertiser says earn a million dollars in one year via his 8 steps free process via traffic exchanges.....is this a scam or what?
