Pingbacks and Comments and one way links question
I know enough to dis allow a comment that isn't going to help me, if the commenter is only trying to get a relevant link and he's in direct competition with me he's outta here.
if he (or she) is overseas and it's not gonna hurt me, I might allow it (especially if the comment is, A) keyword rich and B) helps the flow of content or C) is otherwise helpful to my blog (flattering me is irrelevant, doesn't get me to wanna dilute what ever page rank I have to give you a backlink)
... what should I do with pingbacks?
If the pingback is from a scraper site, I ditch it, my link isn't gonna be there very long so no sense in encouraging them.
Some of the pingbacks are from my rebloging my content on supporting blogs, is there a valid reason for me to cross link back to my own supporting blog?
OR... is it better to have the supporting blog serve as a one way link pointing to my main blog?
