A Quick TIP for a better opt-in autoresponse.

I like to signup for a ton of autoresponders just to see the messages from fellow warriors, and I see a lot of people using the old standard click here to confirm messages.

Blahhh.. Boring !

If you want to get more people to opt-in to your autoresponder, than offer something of value they will receive if they click the confirm link.

A Free Gift, Thats Exciting!

Example

"Click here for your free gift"
"Click here for your download link"

Then send them to a page that has the product. More people will click thru to get the free gift.

Even if its a simple newsletter.
A newsletter can be "Click here to download your free ebook"

I know this may be standard for many, but I still see a big % of people who just don't take the time to change the confirm message.

I think, I'm not sure, that you have to wait an age for some autoresponder services to manually approve the changed confirm message.

Having said that, I do it all the time.

Cool Tips, every little thing helps. As far as I know if you want a customized subject line in AWeber, they have to approve it first.

Right on, Tyler. Agree with you. Using this tip would definitely
get more clicks. But just remember to give away something useful, though.

Yep, that's a good idea. The "thanks for confirming" page is valuable real estate.

It's also a great place to remind your subscriber to add your "from" address to their white list and/or address book.

    Cheers,

    Neil
