your experience with Amazon plz share?

Hi there,

I am planning to promote amazon on my blogs etc. I understand that amazon converts well as compared to other programs out there.. i have a few questions

- Can i do PPC on my product review pages that have ads/links to amazon.com?

- to what extent PPC banned for amazon products. (i guess they recently said that affiliates are not allowed to do PPC)

- any other tips/experiences that you may have, kindly share...

    Personally I had very bad experience with Amazon as affiliate. Mostly people get couple of dollars on top ...

      well, from what i see there are less people promoting amazon on WF... there are little or no discussions about it..

      but i had good earnings from it on one of my blogs.. i got sales in 30 clicks which is good.. IMO

      but i need more idea on what ways i can increase the earnings..

    I have had success with Amazon using two main methods. The first one is building very targeted, high quailty Squidoo lens for one or two Amazon products. Also, on the lens, I always have a board and big call to action. The second method I have seen work extremely well for promoting Amazon products is using coupon sites. This method works great during holiday seasons. This coupon method will take kinda a lot of typing to explain and I have already gone over it in a post early. Here is the post:
