Keyword Gurus - Can you help with keyword ideas?

Hi Warriors,

I'm preparing to write articles that relate to projecting a good image with your business online - but I'm drawing a blank. Can't seem to come up with any that are actually getting searched. But worse, something has stolen my creativity. I can't even think of keywords for this topic. Here are the three I managed to squeeze out of my wee brain:

project right image
business image
your business image

Pretty shabby, huh?

Any ideas?

Thanks.

      Sylvia,

Anytime you can think of a keyword and type it into Google, be sure to click on the "Show Options" and then click on the "Wonder Wheel" to see the keywords that Google closely associates with the original keywords.

Keep diving down that rabbit hole to find more keywords...

Thanks... I do have it on show options - but I didn't get a Wonder Wheel in my dropdown menu. Is that where it's supposed to be? Can't see it anywhere on the Google Keyword Tool - or is it somewhere else?

Thanks, those are good. I'm looking more for keywords related to what kind of message you are sending with your site - ie: is it written well, does it have irritating elements, etc. So, what image are you projecting with it? Is it professional or does it look amateurish. Does it engender trust in your visitor, or does it leave them wondering whether you have the skills to deliver...

      that kind of thing.

The wonder wheel is on the Google search results.....its under the +show options and then under wonder wheel....sometimes it's jittery so you might want to refresh your screen.

For keyword research I always use a keyword tool like Market Samuari to find the best search terms...that have the highest search volume....i think the trial still lets you use the competition research tool....

Nope! It ain't there. The dropdown list shows "show defaults" as the last option.

I've run a search, got some results but no wonder wheel. Maybe there's something else I have to do with my Google interface to activate it?

Once, I had other results coming up in my site searches. Below each result was more details, stats or something, in green I think. I turned it off but I have no idea how to turn it back on. Maybe the Wonder Wheel has to be turned on too?

Well, now I don't feel so bad not being able to come up with keywords for this particular type of article subject.

              Sylvia,

Type in 'business perception' into the Google search box and hit enter. Then click on "Show options", then look under the Standard View heading and you will see the Wonder Wheel option.

Now, 'business perception' might not be a keyword you are looking for, I'm only using it as an example.

Whup! Got it. I was looking somewhere else.

I was in the Google Keyword Tool - not Google Search.

I'd learned to ignore all those extras that display on pages. And. Oh. Look at that? I can "hide options" and still keep the Wheel. Good.

It's always nice to learn something new.

                Partha...

Thank you. Yes those will work. Not "quite" what I was going for, but...

Cant' understand why you can't see it. Right under the search box, to the left hand side, you should have "Web +show options". The wonder wheel is down near the bottom.

Oops, almost forgot about the keywords, lol. Why not look to other related words and phrases, like business reputation, business branding, etc. They're all connected to the image of a company/business so worth going after assuming the research shows some decent searches and not too much competition.

Yes I have gone through a bunch of those. I can't help feeling that there are really good keywords that more accurately target my topic.

Then again, maybe I'm just obsessing.

I did eventually come across some very targeted ones, but they all show NOT ENOUGH DATA and only a few searches in the Global list.

Which brings me to another question I was going to post before.

Is it just me, or is Google returning more NOT ENOUGH DATA responses than it used to? I don't understand why so many very obvious keyword phrases are showing like that - especially when I run searches in quotes and bring back hundreds of thousands of sites targeting those keywords.

Can't say I've ever seen all these NED messages prior to a few months ago.

Use Google adwords keyword research tool to see how many searches are being performed, competition, etc... Make sure you find a phrase that you can rank on the first page of Google with your article. Or else it will be pretty useless!

Would it be easier to find keywords related to the actual benefits of projecting or portraying a good business image?

So by projecting a good image for your business online you could:-

    (keywords)
    get more traffic
    get more subscribers
    get more sales

Or am i completely off-track with this one?

    Cheers

Aother thing to think about. some owners know they need some sort of help. Many times their friends and neighbors have told them 'you need a web presence' or 'internet marketing' or even 'search optimization' so even those that will benefit from your services do not always put in what one would normally put in to find you. They need to be educated as to what they need even. so many times it is good to use keywords that will draw traffic that you know you can educate into paying for your services. (one of the services you can provide is educating them as to what services they really need!)
that is why some companies have several web sites built around different perceived services that a business might think it needs. Of course after procuring a meeting and investigating the biz, you may find they need something entirely different than what they thought at 1st.

    Make sense?

(That opens the possibilities for keywords as well)

YES! Thank you, John. A couple there are perfect - triggered others.

Amazing how one little word can make a difference, ie: "first"
