That's right, its hard enough to think of domains, let alone the name of the company they all fall under!

Since this is the warrior forum, the company will be doing website solutions and internet marketing

Well...you have left A LOT of variables out of this one I am afraid...

For instance, are you serving online/offline clients or both? Are your website solutions low end/entry level or high end corporate designs? Do you do offer a variety of website solutions including landing pages, squeeze pages, traditional sales pages, blogs, etc? Do you have offer creation/consulting of design or just fulfillment?

Also, Internet Marketing now is a HUGE term...do you have an area of focus...a niche?

If I could get a better scope of what it is that you do, i would be happy to throw out some ideas. In many cases, your url can serve as your business, with or without the dot com.

I think you should pick what ever you like.

            For example, look at "Amazon."

20 years ago, would you have thought that was the name for a place that has books? Probably not.

Go for something fun and catchy where the dot coms will be abundant.

Your SEO (on and off site) is going to ultimately give meaning to the name that you pick.

              Spot on.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions and mocking I'm not expecting you give me the answer, just wanted to throw some buzz words around with like minded people to spark some ideas.

Fair enough, and very good points. Cheers for the domain suggester - It's come up with a few good ones

I'd be serving small to medium offline clients (a few physical stores, nothing international), creating and marketing their websites and online storefronts. For most of my clients, this will be a new site, or upgrade of something a 'friend of a friends son' knocked up for them years ago

It will also be an umbrella company to manage all my own clickbank and IM type sites. Branding isn't important for this part, it'll only be behind the scenes.

A trendy web 2.0 name would do the job (there's probably a generator for that too!)

EDIT: Thanks Syndicator! Extensions like 'media' and 'solutions' are good too, but i'll be staying away from the 'marketing' brand

WIMPsolutions.com - domain is currently available.

    Web & Internet Marketing Solutions.

The "P" is silent - like in Psychology, or Psmith (with apologies to ol' Pelham Grenville...)

If this were the friendfinder forums instead of the warrior forums - would the company be doing dating solutions instead?

Why not make a hybrid name. All the kids these days are blending names together with words like synergy, innovation, logistics, dynamic, paradigm, and more.

For local offline stuff, I recommend going with a name that really SAYS what you do. For instance, I am part of a business that creates landing pages for Facebook Fan Pages...it is called Fan Page Solutions. People get that right away. For my Twitter marketing...placing an ad in the local business paper that says....TWITTER MARKETING gets tons of responses...
