INTERNET MARKETING

I am getting conflicting information reading different resources but where is the best place to put your links in articles submitted to the article directories? (Ezine, GoArticles, etc)

I believe some directories have resource boxes, others don't. I assume it's ok to put the link in both the article body and in the resource box?

They're all different. You have to read the terms at each directory.

AT EZA you can have two links in your resource box going out to your pages, but both links cannot go to the same page. You can also have (not sure) one or two links in the body of the article as places readers can get more info on the topic, but those links cannot appear in the first three paragraphs or it will get rejected.

At EZA you can have your resource box links go to things like Squidoo, Blogger, or WordPress pages you have (or a regular dot com type site).

You cannot direct link to a vendor's sales page except if you use a redirect from a top level domain you have on to the sales page. Don't know why that is. You can also have no more than five words in the anchor text you use in your bio box (combined).

In general you have to read the terms at each directory because they varry in what you can and can't do with links. Good luck! --Mike

  Ezine has a lot of videos on YouTube and they are easier, at least for me, to watch than reading the TOS.

I think that link in content is always better. Of course, if it's relevant to the article text.

Personally, I prefer in-content links over resourfce boxes. But in things like EZA, since ou don't have an option, what do you do but place resource links?!

  Simply place resource links?

  Depends on the site policies, some allow anchor text links on the body...others dont. Just take advantage of the resource box in that case. IMO 2 links on each article is enough.

  Yes, I agree with you that some of the article directories neither allow to add links in the body part nor in resource. I will always go for WordPress articles directories. I think they are the best dofollow directories. They also allow to add any number of links.

  I would say that research box links even better than text links...who wants to click a link before reading the content...if contect is good, you will be clicked if not, there is nothing to click for...doesn't matter where your link is...
