Is there an autoresponder that allows u to add leads manually w/o verified opt-in?

Anyone??

I'm currently using Aweber, and they don't seem to have such a feature. So, I'm exploring other alternatives...

I use GetResponse, and have a high number of unconfirmed subscribers. I wonder what the issue is? Can the confirm email be resent? Very annoying.

Hmm... I thought GetResponse has the option of single opt-in?

iContact will let you do this. But they'll also keep a watchful eye on your account. That is, they'll either ban you or ask you to double opt your list if spam complaints roll in.

Most companies simply will not allow an import without grabbing the double opt. It keeps them on good terms with their upstream providers.

    Hey J.T.,

Check out Ewen Chia's AutoResponder, it has single opt-in. (I don't remember what he calls it, but you will find a link to it from his webpage...

Hold the presses, your faithful reporter just went looking and found... Ewen Chia's Auto Responder is called "Monster Response AutoResponder"

Also, I started a thread today (hasn't gotten any response, but it was submitted right before the down time WF had earlier today. In it I'm asking about if anyone has any experience with a package being offered by this company, Ultimate Marketing Center.

    My thread is here:
    http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...e-package.html.

In it is a link to UMC's webpage. It offers a lot of services for "19.95 per month, and I THINK it has a single opt-in autoresponder (not absolutely sure), but it's worth looking at.

I'm looking for a good service, myself, so let me know what you decide on.

    Thanks,

    Adam

I have a package that I'm considering releasing soon as a product. I can import 15-30k leads at a wack...also I can import from any order of data in a csv format so doesn't matter how the csv is formatted (eg; what order the data is in)...it's pretty groovy.

Spam filtering is very sophisticated these days. You might seen an advantage with single opt-ins in terms of numbers, but how many of your emails are actually getting to recipients' inboxes? I put up with Aweber's occasional problems and forced verification of opt-ins because I know I can't match them for deliverability. I guarantee you if you're using a stand-alone A/R on your own server, you're not getting nearly as many emails delivered as you think. Maybe you don't mind, but at least take it into account.
