Do email blasters and/or ad blasters work?

Just Curious if anyone has ever had any luck with:
email blasters/opt in bulk email(not your own list)
Ad Blasters
Bulk traffic

Even a single sale?

    Anything that says

    "Bulk Email" I stay away from because most ofthe time you are doing nothing but spamming a bunch of people that did not ask to get the emails...

    If it's a membership like Herculist, then yes, they work.

    E-mail blasters will get you some results...but I'm talking about maybe a handful of page views per millions of leads. Basically not worth your time, effort, and money for such small results.

    Herculist is a safelist, which does work but it is the original type of safelist with no incentive to read ads.

    I'd recommend credit based safelists, which is one of a few free traffic sources I use extensively with success.
