Where is the PR fountain ?

This is something which bug's me for a long time. Looks like a perfect MLM scheme.

New websites get published every day

Those build new backlinks every day which suck PR from high PR sites to low PR sites (guess the relation is a favor of the low PR sites)

So where the heck do the HIGH PR sites get their PR from ?

Is PR growing on tree's?

The math simply doesn't add up and the only conclusion is that there are some Google rep's which add manually FRESH PR to top rated sites.

Am I missing something here ?

    Yep. Its called Google does what ever it wants to to bend the rules . . . Its kinda like Congress how they pass laws to force the rest of us to do something then exempt themselves from these rules :rolleyes:

    High PR sites get their PR from the same place that other sites do. They have lots of back links pointing to them, and they have good useful content.

    Sites don't lose PR because of the back links that are on their site, sucking the PR away from them.

      Thanks but it still doesn't make sense.

      So why High PR sites GET PR from somehwere if there is no FLOW ?

      And why should we use robot.txt files to avoid sharing PR with unrelevant pages and no follow links if there is no PR leaking ?

      If there is a link juice flow, then it's in both ways.

        Sites don't "lose" PR to the other pages that they link out to. All of the sites that are linked to from a page receive a portion of that page's PR, and the PR is divided between ALL links on the page. Therefore, in order to pass maximum PR through certain links, the theory goes that blocking irrelevant links with nofollow tags will increase the portion of PR that passes to dofollow links.
