Facebook - Adding a Text Link

Hi All

I am hoping that some kind sole could show me how to past a Text Link in a Facebook status update.

I know how to make a link appear like this www.facebook.com.au

However I want it to appear like this Facebook

    Sorry,
    I've tried it a couple different ways but I don't think you can. You can attach a link to your post but you can't attach it to a specific word.

    Also facebook does not allow html into their post.

    Hopefully someone can find a different solution to this issue.

    After reading your post, I went into Facebook and tried it a few different ways.

    It appears that only typing in the entire URL will result in a link. Anything else, trying to link it to a word using different kinds of code, wouldn't work.

    I've given it a try myself in the past and never had any luck. Facebook > Spam.

    I know how to post a text link to a person.

    First you type @ and then start to type a persons name eg: @Maria Sharapova but before you finish the typing of the persons name the Facebook drop down menu will appear and then you can choose a person that you want to create a text link to.

    I am not sure if it only works for your friends, but try it out

    Here is the solution:

    @[Your page id:Your page name]

    Say your page id is: 2565642051695

    Then the code will be:

    @[2565642051695:Facebook]

    It will show up like this:

    Facebook

    With the link to the page Facebook. Hope you got it.
