MP3 from seminar for sale: Right or Wrong?

Hi Warrior,
I'm glad to be among the great minds. I'm new to net marketing and've not made a dime. I will be most grateful on the day that the cash will keep coming in. Well enough of that.

What I actually want to know is, if it's legal to sell the learning kit given to me by my resource persons durng the seminar since the kit is a complete package.

I need an advice on what to do to make cash from the resource pack.

    One question... who owns the copyrights? He/she is the only one allowed to make copies.

    Contact that person and work out a deal in which you are an affiliate earning a commission for selling the learning kit, and for selling the seminar to others.

    The copyright owner wins, you win, and people buying the course win.

    If you're talking about selling the physical product
    to someone else, yes, no problem.

    If you're talking about selling copies, absolutely not without
    express written permission from the copyright owner.

    I agree with both Don and Tsnyder...

    First of all if the kit was GIVEN to you, meaning that you did not pay for it, you might not be able to sell it without getting into trouble. If the creator, writer, producer, of the kit has its SOLE copyrights then you can not make money off of it without prior consent.

    Now, if you paid for the kit then I guess you can try to get some money back the same way people sell used items in ebay...

        You've paid for access to the information in the seminar, not the rights to it. Totally different things.

        It would be similar to buying tickets to a concert and assuming you then have the right to sell videos of the concert.

        As for the resource kit, you may or may not actually own it. Check the terms of sale - you may only be licensed to use the kit.

        As Don said, your best course is to contact the seminar provider and find out just what rights you have and what mutually beneficial deal you can strike.
