A Question To All Article Marketers

Hey guys,

I need to ask you a question related to article marketing. Say you write a ton of well researched articles and all that but... would you submit them all at the same time? I was wondering about this. Should i submit them all at once or one after the other for some better ezinearticles rankings or such?

    Submitting a few everyday works much better from what I've seen but don't quote me on that.

    Does EZA have any limits or recommended daily maximums? The most I've submitted in a day is 10 articles which took me a little courage to do

    Does anyone submit say 20-30 a day without any problems?

    You're bound to get a lot of different replies to this question.
    Choose the method which you think makes most sense then test it.

    Here's what I do:

    1. Write a very good article, do the keyword research, optimization and a killer resource box.

    2. Put the article on your blog or website first and add a few sentences at the beginning and end.

    3. Submit the article to the popular article directories.

    4. Submit the article using software to hundreds of other directories.

    Some services provide this submission process but you can also use software to do it.

    I use this method and it has given me excellent SEO benefits and targeted traffic.

    As for duplicate content...it has never affected me.

    However, I do not agree with writing articles for the benefit of backlinks only. Write the best article you can with a cool resource box and just submit to a lot of places.

    Ooops...and to answer the question, I would finish submitting one article before moving on to the next one :-)

    I really do not think it matters how frequently or not you release them b/c they will all stand on their own individual mark. If you have researched the KWs well and backlink each article then they will rank as a result of those factors not when you did or did not release the article.

      Yeah I thought about that as well but there's author and article rankings on the directory as well I think... things like that, that bring in some extra traffic... that's why im not sure.

        I hear ya. I have done well enough with my articles that I no longer concnern myself with the "Most Published" and "Most Viewed" sections. Over time I will get consistent traffic for most articles so I would rather focus on KW research and backlinks.

          To answer your question all you have to do is go directly to the source; EZA. Here is the latest printout of the top nine EZA authors.

          Those numbers tell the tale in the sense that these authors are obviously not submitting articles - one here and one there. I use a number of ghost writers and content writers for the various pen names that I own and once they complete projects, there may be days when I submit upwards of 30 or more articles in a day.

          If you want a article or a particular web page to rank high in the SERPs, there are things you can do to get it there related to Off Page SEO.

          If you want to want to spot up on the EZA "Most Published" and the "Most Viewed" sections, there are things you can do to get there, just ask Jeremy Kelsall.

              Another advantage to staggering the release of your articles, like I suggested, as opposed to pushing them out there all at once is the fact, by doing it this way, you'll always have articles in the pipeline ready to go. That way, if you get sick, get writers block, or whatever the case may be, you will always have articles in the pipeline ready to go. That takes off the pressure of having to scramble to come up with fresh content all the time, while still giving you the ability to keep your name out there on a weekly basis.

              Because, trust me on this. There will be times, for whatever reason, when you just won't be able to crank out a bunch of articles the way you're doing right now. It happens. That's why having a bunch of articles in the pipeline ready to go is such a smart move.

    I no longer submit to article directories. I haven't for over a year. I use an entirely different method to publish and distribute my articles. Be that as it may, I'm going to use an analogy to answer your question. Let's suppose you were a singer/songwriter, and you had written a ton of great new songs. Would you release them all at the same time? Or would you stagger their release?

    Of course you wouldn't release them all at the same time. No record company in the world would allow you to do that.

    Why? Because if you released them all at once, the songs would all get lost in the noise of each other. They'd cancel each other out. That's why record companies only release one song at a time. And that's exactly what you should do with your articles. Release them one at a time. One or two per week would be a good release schedule, in my opinion.

        How many articles were you wanting to submit?

        If its 50+ ... this is great advice.

        You definitely should not post them all at once if you have your own web page...

    I really think it is personal preference. You see guys like Sean Mize and others who have cranked out thousands of articles, and then you see other people who are successful with article marketing with only a hundred articles.

    There are so many different philosophies when it comes to article marketing that the debate could go on forever. You can submit 20 or 30 a day to ezinearticles if you want to, but I say do some testing and find out what works best for you.
