A couple of tiny video tips
I am working on a video - I am new to video so it's a learning curve but here are a couple of nice things I found:
1. I was having big problems with my microphone... actually the mic was fine but due to the poor PC mother board or something (it is a dell!) the PC fan noise and hard disk noise was getting into the recording via the circuitry basicly resulting in a lot of hissing and clicking on the audio.
Solution: I just used the memo feature on the iPhone. I got crisp perfect audio and I simply converted it to mp3 via Itunes and dragged it into my camtasia project.
2. I uploaded the video to Youtube but quality was poor... solution is to find a good video host. This video host I found gives you 2000 credits which I think translates into a LOT of views for free (credits are fairly cheap to buy after and is pay as you go). The site is MIG69 - High quality video hosting. I now have a video I can distribute with NO adverts and with high quality.
Now if you are video marketing for SEO I imagine #2 doesn't apply. But for product demos or video sales letters etc. I think this is a great service. I've only uploaded one video but it is working well. (I have no affiliation with mig69 by the way).
