Hi Warriors!

I am doing a little research and I would love to ask warriors how a typical business day in your life unfolds.

Like from the moment you wake up and fire up your computer what business related activities do you do first and in what order? Also how do you keep track of all the stuff you need to remember and how you get organized? Pieces of paper or Word Document or Physical/Electronic Sticky Notes or something different altogether?

Thanks in advance warriors!

Today, I woke up at 11:30

Right now I am browsing warrior forum

At about 1 (when it's 11:00 AM in Pakistan) I will contact my virtual assistant and ask her to contact the freelancers and ask them how the current project is going

My VA is now going to contact all of my freelancers and collect their daily reports from them (I give them a template when the start working). Then she will make her own report and send it to me. It usually takes about an hour so I just hang around on Warrior Forum while drinking soda

When I get the report, I sit down for like 2 hours and plan out what's next. Then I send the report to my VA and she sorts out the tasks and gives them to individual freelancers.

It's 4:00 pm and I have promised my uncle that I will help him on his gas station (thinking it will be fun). So at 4:00 PM I leave to work (without pay )

I come back from there at 10:00PM and then I get back to IM.

From 10:00PM - 3:00AM I work on my products and that's the time I type like crazy

If I am not creating a product, then I usually write articles for my niche websites or do some backlinking but I really don't have to worry about it because I have people doing it for me.

    3:00AM-4:00PM I play games online

At about 5:00 AM I go to sleep

    Rinse and repeat

I think my life would have been tons better if I refused when my uncle asked me "It's gonna be fun, come work with me"

But I told him I will help him out 4 days a week for the whole summer and so I will

Now on the days when I don't have to go the stupid gas station, I play video games in the 6 hours that I have (What else can you expect from a 17 year old)

Wondering if someone here has a 'glamorous' life... as in chilling all day, working 4 hours a week/day, sipping Dom Perignon, lying on the beach in the sun, hitting the clubs, drinking martini's. You know enjoying life...

That's my goal. Work is inevitable (right now) but hey someday I hope life will be easy like that. We only get to play this game once..

If I didn't have to work 6 hours with my uncle, that's exactly the kind of life I have.

I mean, once I tell my VA what to do I can just have fun and do nothing but that's not what I choose to do.

I have bigger goals and I can relax once I get there

8:30 AM- Wake up , check forum, answer e-mails, deal with any pressing issues.
    9:15 AM - Breakfast
10 AM - Boot camp at the local gym
11 AM - Check e-mails, check in with my team, relay daily goals to my employees
12 PM - Quick lunch at Subway or somewhere around here
1 PM - 3 PM - Work on customer orders, websites, etc.
3 PM - 6 PM - Work on my own new products, affiliate websites, create videos, tweak PPC campaigns, etc.

Rest of the day - Sports (golf or tennis) Rest, reflect, think of new ideas to make my business run better and more profitable.

After doing this full time for 3 years I've learned the key to not burning out is to ENJOY your time away from the computer. Luckily I love golf, hanging out with friends, my dogs, and traveling. Many people in IM get totally absorbed which is fine to start but once you start making money take time for YOURSELF and more will come out of it

    hmm..

I wake up and check all of my emails first. I then go and check my membership forums for any new threads I need to reply to. Next, I'll check my adswap for the day to make sure clicks are looking good.

Finally I'll get around to checking my accounts for payments received. Gotta save the best for last

If I feel up to it, I'll write a blog post! Other than that, I try to enjoy my offline life since everything is pretty much on autopilot.

Anyone who lists "check e-mails" more than twice per day needs to start outsourcing their e-mail management.

It is one of the most egregious productivity wasters.

I work in a J.O.B a couple of days a week but the days that I'm not working there consist of:

      Email/breakfast/forums/support
go for a walk if coffee has kicked in
work on whatever project is planned for that day
browse forum or listen to vid while having lunch
      contact va and advise tasks
      listen/read/study product purchased
      spend time with my partner
      go to the gym
      fix anything broken
      email check
      plan project for next day

This is kinda weird because I am always so "techy" and I think computer can do everything but when it comes to managing my time, creating a to do list etc. a pen and paper work the best.

There's just something about writing it down that makes me wanna do it. It just makes stuff more "official"

Well now MsKatya, I reckon I am the best qualified to be answerin that question...

Chillin all day - well ma'am, beens I am on up in years, I don't really have any chillins in Hillbilly Mansion any longer!

Workin 4 hours a week - heck, that there is all I have time for with all the chores what need to be done around here. You just can not imagine how long it takes to pluck all these chickens.

Sipping Dom Perignon - Ain't Dom Perignon a bird? I guess I just do not understand that there question!

Lyin on the beach - Hmmm, well I certainly do not be a doin that. Why would my female dog want me a lyin on her? That just plumb does not make a lick of sense!

Hittin the clubs - NOW we're a talkin! Me an a few of my kinfolk git together each an ever week to play a nice game of Hearts and Gin. Funny thang is that the Gin don't last through the whole dadburn cardgame. We oft times have to switch to shine to keep the night goin!

Drinkin Martinis - Drinkin Martinis what? You probably talkin bout shine cause Mayhew Martini brews up one of the best batches a shine within 40 miles of Stumpwoody!

Okay, Ms. Katya, I am plumb tickled I could help you out with yore questions!

You shore have a mity fine night, you hear?

No strict schedule. Generally wake up around 9 or 10am, and every work day is different. For example:

Today -- Finish upgrade to scraper script, complete the two pending installs, finish sales site, and contact the potentials to let them know the features they requested are now supported.

Tomorrow -- Setup two more web servers, and release a good sized update to my clients dating site / software.

Over the next week -- Develop project I'm working on with a fellow warrior, and move client's dating site to my new software infrastructure. Oh, and profusely apologize to another warrior, and see if they're still interested in doing their project together.

After that, who knows. All depends what comes up over the next few days / week. With my job, I can't schedule things out like you guys can. All I can do is setup processes to easily handle & streamline whatever does come in.

    Wake up.
Get ready for the day, hop in the Jeep and head to 7-11 for coffee and handing out business cards for my comedy site to strangers.
Drive over to my Dad's and talk about work for an hour or so.
Go home and work my RL job.
Take a nice long shower every day around 4:30-5pm.
Prepare and cook dinner for the wife since she commutes and I work @ home.
    Hang out with the woman.
    Woman sleeps around 11pm.
I come down to my basement workshop and work on new puppets or videos. Or lately toil endlessly trying to figure out what I have to do to promote my sites which is has become the bane of my existence.
Sleep around 3:00-4:00am or whenever no set time.

      1. Wake up (when i cbf - from a late night last night gaming).
      2. Google Chrome>Adwords Check>Adsense Check.
      3. Around 10:30am (australia) I phone my SMB's.

(Small to medium businesses I have profit-share agreements with)

Note: This bypasses the whole "AFFILIATE" game online.

      4. My SMB (small To Medium Businesses) call me back and say I got them "x" jobs and I made "$x,xxx+ today.
      5. I laugh my asz off and play video games all day long, bludging the hell out of myself with a constant smile of "craziness" (cos I never stop worshipping my computer "or myself for that matter").
      6. I spend all day long asking gamers who I appreciate if they want to become millionaires like me...

They usually call me a B.S.Artist and say I am trying to hack them etc...

I get a kick out of this and retire for the night thinking people are really very "stupid individuals" - accept for warrior forums etc webmasters

      love dave...

Come back and check last night sales and emails (don't answer them yet thought)...
Take another nap and really get up at 8:30 am
Shower, breakfast and straight to the computer...
    Answer emails...
Wonder through forums for one hour ... not more, unless I find a great WSO and start a new research...

The rest of the day I work on the next site to launch....

And of course I do normal things like eat and run errands ... and take the dogs out multiple times a day.... I love my dogs...
