Difference in Yahoo link counts?

INTERNET MARKETING

I am using the SEOQuake plugin for firefox. The plugin gives me two different results, for Yahoo links, one says linkdomain, and one is just links. Can someone please explain what the difference is and which one is more important when researching competition? Thank you.
