Page Rank and Index Lingo

I have googled for these answers, but I am not 100% clear.

Market Samurai said the last time my page was indexed was 7 days ago. Does that have anything to do with what "number" I am in Google? For example, I am number 200 something in Google. I have made some major changes and still making some but have not increased in popularity. Does reindex mean when Google determines whether you are number 5, 10, 100 in Google??

I get page rank means if a page is PR0, 1, 2, 3, etc. I am confused also if page rank has anything to do with indexing. There are several pages on the first page of Google with a PR of 0.

Hope I am making sense...

    indexing is just when google updates its information about your page after visiting it again.... this is nothing to do with where you rank.

    Page Rank is all about links - how many, what type, where from, how valuable....

    PR 0 pages often show up briefly when they first get published and then drop off again unless they get lots of new links.
