Hey Warriors

Was wondering if anyone had experience with outsourcing Web design project's. I went on "Warrior for hire" but was over whelmed by so many offers, and didn't know where to start.

I am looking for someone I can partner up with and outsource simple projects such as: landing pages, flyers, e-commerce stores, and small websites.

Ideally, I would like pricing to be reasonable without compromising quality of work. If anyone provides this kind of service pls PM me or shoot me a post. Thanks a bunch!!

I can't vouch for the section here, but it might be good to also look into sites that specialize in outsourcing such as vworker and odesk.

I have not had trouble finding good people. That said, I have been finding people through a variety of means for over 10 years. Things you can't see quite as easily here:
    1. total number of jobs worked
    2. total hours worked
    3. hourly rate the worker charges (and has charged in the past)
    4. average size of job
    5. Associates (if they are part of a company)
    6. Screenshots of there work (as they work!)
    7. Jobs that have been placed in arbitration and why
    8. Ratings including bad ones

I'm sure there are some excellent people available here that fill some niches, and finding that exact niche on larger outsourcing sites could take some work. However, for the above reasons, I don't feel there is a developed outsourcing system here, but I would hope that maybe it will be explored more so that people can feel more comfortable working with people.

Definitely check out Odesk.com. They have a great review system and you can find some good/cheap labor there for one-off projects. We've used them ourselves...

@Graphicsgenie due to my low post I will not be able to PM you. Perhaps you can PM me your email so we can further discuss your fee's and sample of portfolio.

Dvduval: I hear what you're saying. I am very hesitant on outsourcing work, because I have been burned in the past. I am however, confident I will be able to find someone suitable to meet my needs here on WF.... (cross my fingers)

I'm not totally against hiring someone here. I hired one writer who did NOT deliver the work and lost $50. I don't believe there is any means of arbitration here.

That said, I have received substandard work MANY occasions! I know that you have to try a few people before you find a good one. That is especially difficult on a limited budget (which used to be my case). Now I can say I can't remember choosing a REALLY bad outsourcer, but there have been a few that haven't worked out in the last year. However, 97% of my work is done by my regular help (in terms of hours).

Oh, and I only use new people on "pet projects" and never on an important producing site.

dude why are you so worried about trifflings, you should not lose hope and keep searching, no one know what is your really need, you have to do a little work on searching and you find thousands of options then select five out of 10 outsourcers who have high page rank according to google and then select only one of them that gives you reasonable price, out there every one is good and every one is bad this is your choice what to choose. have fun..

You might talk to these guys: http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...s-banners.html

Check their website for site design details.

Very easy to work with, unique artistry, and great prices.
Elance is another site to try.

    Good luck in your search.

    Holla Guys,

I went to Odesk & Elance always to find the right person for any assignments we have, there are a lot of people available for small time period tasks like back support & project management.

There are still lots of options for outsourcers to get their work done by putting their query on craigslist & get queries from service providers.

    @slickback:

Finding a good outsourced worker is always trial and error. Those that were able to hire a good contractor the first time are extremely lucky. However, there are a lot of good online workers out there so don't lose hope. Anywhere you go, there will always be good and bad ones. It is just a matter of evaluating the applicants properly in order for you to increase your chances of getting a good one.

With that said, you may want to try and post a job for a web designer at EasyOutsource. All the registered workers there are Filipinos and there have been a high success rate in hiring Filipino online workers. It is free to join and post a job at EasyOutsource, so do try it out.

Yes, I also found some great Filipinos on Odesk for $1-3/hour range. Some even don't require all that much training.

I have had a lot of success on Odesk. I guess I have been fortunate because I have found some great contractors on that site. Once you post your job try to interview as many people as you can and you will eventually find someone who will give you good results!

Yea, the advantage with Odesk is you can actually see their screen. If you get a low rate and can't see their screen, you are somewhat blind to the effectiveness of your new hire.

You can always try us, but traditionally, we are high end. Not typical WSO pricing, but we're VERY good.

The portfolio of our design work can be seen in the picture section of our facebook fan page. Content Divas | Facebook

Again, we're really good at what we do, but definitely on the high end of the scale. There are much more affordable options in the Warriors for hire section and while places like Elance and Odesk can feel like a headache, you do have more insurance on your money because they can't run away with it without consequences.

    Good luck!

    ~Shelby
