Targeting foreign traffic for less competition

I was browsing through a potential affiliate products affiliate tools page, and it mentioned that they had a spanish copy of the product, and that there is a huge market for using ppc in other languages.

I had never considered this before, but do you do this? Using PPC or other methods in non-english languages to fight with less competition?

    Yeah , I have used this technique and it works.
    There is less competition in foreign market and you can get better results if you work on making your site multilingual you can get success.

    I recently setup a campaign on Plenty of Fish and accidentally forgot to target just the United States. My bid was very low but I started to get a huge volume of traffic. After viewing reports I realized my mistake and that all this really cheap traffic was coming from the UK. I haven't capitalized on this knowledge yet but it does show that you can get a lot more of cheap traffic if you target outside the US.
