A newbie's question on promoting your own products.

Hi,

I have search for the answer to this question, but just can't seem to find an answer.

Let's assume one has purchased a domain name and hosting from, let's say Go Daddy for sake of an example, and has a landing page and a secondary sales page.

You have a free report to give away on a landing page, and an ebook which you wrote and would like to sell, rather than promoting a product on Click Bank.

Where/how does one store these .pdf files, which will be downloaded by those who visit your landing pages and from the sales page.

Thank you,

elizbeth

You will want to upload your PDF files right onto your server just like you did with your website. Make sure you name them something that someone can't think of very easily so people can't just figure out the web address and get to them. If you don't want to use Clickbank, you could also use ejunkie. Something else to think about, you might want to take a look at DL Gaurd to protect your sales from theft initially. Just some food for thought.

Just don't name the folder "downloads" or "zipfiles". Too many people do that and it's easy for someone to gain access.

You will want to upload your files so that you can create a PDF. In that PDF, you can have affiliate links in it.

Does that answer your question? Hope it does.

You make a folder special for site files , you make a button for download the report, you put the report in the site files folder, you link the download button to the report, after this you upload all what's in the folder to your server. You make this by FTP, you can use FileZilla.
