a good free virus remover? urgent!

anyone can recommend one?

all the ones ive found will find the virus but u have to buy the program to remove them, if someone can help id appreciate it shows my computer as being infected after a scan

    You really need to invest in antivirus software. AVG at avg.com is a good one.

    avg is free, but you do really need to have a reliable one. McAfee, Norton, AVG, etc.

    Also, sometimes the programs you're talking about will infect you on purpose (or tell you you're infected) to get you to buy the program.
