Need a traffic counter

INTERNET MARKETING

Does anyone have a good html code for a traffic counter, or know where I can get one. I prefer one that does not show on the site, but will take either.

Have you looked at Google analytics? It's free, and WAY more powerful than any html drop-in traffic counter.

Glenn, if you notice google analytics slowing your webpage loading up for prospects, statcounter dot com is excellent as well and has fast load time and you can select 'invisible ' when you are getting the html code.

I use statcounter as well on most of my sites.

I only use Google Analytics on my flagship sites. No use in giving the Big 'G' even more data about me beyond the massive amount they've already collected.

I use Google Analytics and also histats.com on most of my sites. Histats is free and has a lot of different counter options (including invisible). It isn't as detailed as some others, but is great for basic traffic information.
