BBcode on my PC?

I would like to build some of my WSO sales pages on my PC. This would allow me to edit and test the page without being visited by others, like in the TEST FORUM.

Are there any BBcode editors or software that would allow me to do that.

My second choice would be an unused directory in one of my domains.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

    Personally if I wanted to muck around with bb code a lot, I'd just install a [totally free] simple machines forum on a site, without a nav link of course.

    To do it on a puter would be a little more involved, at least as I understand it. I'd start with downloading xampp from apache friends - xampp and then install a smf, and then muck around.
