Question about how to set up selling ad space on my blog.

Hi Warriors,

I was wondering if anyone knows how sell ad space on your blog. I recently had a request from a business who wants to buy advertising space on my blog. How much should I charge? And, how do you usually set up the transaction? Should I use paypal for them to pay for the advertisement?

I know how to upload a banner and link it, that part isn't that hard but, I'm not sure how to go about the actual transaction of the sale.

Has anyone done this?

    If it is your first I think an informal payment request is fine. Then you can develop something more elaborate as time goes on. Buysellads.com has a pretty good program too.

    Show their banner ad on your blog and then try to accept the earnings with PayPal or other tools.
    Of course, the price of your ad depends on many factors, including your traffic, Google PageRank, Alexa ranking, etc.
