I don't think the goal is to get back links to your article on EZA but rather to get a backlink from it. If I am not mistaken, EZA allows articles to be taken from their site and reposted on their sites. So, probably not too many backlink to EZA.

I am curious now though, will links:sitename.com/url work? I never tried that.

To check backlinks in general I use:

backlinkwatch{dot}com
iwebtool{dot}com/backlink_checke
online-utility{dot}org/webmaster/backlink_domain_analyzer.jsp

Your backlinks won't be visible until the yahoo, google, bing bots have found the links. It takes a few days to a week. From my experience.

Your welcome. I also use these tools to check the 1st page of google websites and see how they marketed their website and their backlinks. This way I can tailor my Marketing Plan to out do theirs and set a goal for 1st page on google

Thanks for the info's though, but I'd use backlinkwatch before and always get same lame result: "Out of Yahoo quota for today. Total 50,000 queries executed already."

For online-utility, It was my favourite tool after site explorer but it's not really consistent. Sometimes show all backlink(very good) sometimes never.

For iwebtool, it only show backlink for domain, but not for post.

Any other backlink tools? I don't mind even it's not free..

Can anyone clarify this please.
I submitted 15 articles via article submission software and got 1600+ live links from its report.

I also posted manually to several pagerank 5 article directories 15 articles each. But when I check using the backlink checker tools what I got was only 185 back links??!! what is happening.....?:confused:

Just found some new software last night on the forum. Sorry it took me long to get back : SEO Spy and Samauri Marketing. I will look for other tool resources, I have them bookmarked on my computer, posting via Droid now.

I notice high PR websites give me an update on google faster, like Digg, or Ez article. You may need to wait for the next google web crawler bot to index all of your new work. I am currently waiting on the same exact issue as you. Used article bot. I should have 1200 links coming in, but as you read down I did this to pass the time and market my site. (Edit- felt more info was needed to answer your question)

@qamar : I have had this problem as well. Some sites just dont work and google may not find the article. A fix I found to the problem was:

1- gater all direct URLs of articles posted
2 - create a blog or blog netowrk
3 - post an article with links to your other articles

Now you have let's say, 5 blogs linking to 500 articles whoch in turn link to your site. My friend you now have a powerful PR web. What's more is you can use an RSS feed and post links there or even use digg, stumble, to index ur blogs.

By doing this you shouldn't even need to worry about the articles that you missed or didn't make it.

@kmukhreez - I love that sites, but the 50,000 restriction is horrible. I do my marketing on my downtime at midnight to 3am. The site is allways up then.

When did you actually have your article posted?

As mentioned by Live Wire, the bots have to find it and index it first before it will show up in any search results.

Give it a little bit of time before you go splashing out on software you may not have needed.

Create an author profile in ezinearticles then ping that profile. The spiders will come running.

Also, you can build backlinks to your article and boost the search engine rankings of that article.
