Hi.

Host Gator or Just Host ? Which web hosting is better?
Host Gator has 50% off, so 3 years hosting is $3.98/m (all unlimited)
Offer ends tonight.

Just host has also 50% off on top of the special offer (I think)
3 years webhosting is (£1.98/m) $3.09/m and 4 years (£1.45/m) $2.26/m
(all unlimited)

What do you think?

IMHO, you cannot compare Hostgator to JustHost because they are on two different levels when it comes to service and response. I have accounts with both BUT I do not put any of my "Money Sites" on JustHost.

The only thing I use JustHost for is by BL network. Others may have different experiences so here is my caveat and take it for what its worth.

If you are not familiar with web hosting and how to deal with the backend technical issues, go with Hostgator hands down. If not, you may end up cussing and pulling your hair in the event that you have a issue and need tech support. It is a known fact that virtually all cheap hosting providers offer little to no tech support for the prices they charge.

To sum it up, for your MONEY sites, you want to use a service like Hostgator. For your non money sites, you can use any of the cheap hosting accounts.

      Hostgator hands down.

I was going to sign up with just host, then changed my mind or had an error before submitting the form... I get an email a few minutes later saying that if I come back and sign up I'll get half off... Thats unethical IMO for a large company.. It's like going to walmart, changing your mind about buying something, and then someone whispers they can give you 50% off if you get it now...

Go with hostgator, you cant beat their service and professionalism.

Hostgator, I have used Just Host in the past and I didn't have any problems with them, but I heard lots of horror stories so I figured I would transfer before I started having my own.

I use Hostgator and have done for years without any problems.

I'm HostGator all the way! After reading up on so many web hosting reviews Hostgator won me over. So far they've been great. My blog hasn't crashed and the customer support is great!

Hostgator's tech support can't be beat. They not only know how to handle hosting and domain related issues, but they also know how to fix problems with Wordpress and just about any other software that you may be using on their space. You can access a technician instantly via online chat.

This level of support would cost a fortune for any brick and mortar business, and you have it available for only a few dollars a month. What's not to like?

You should build it with Wordpress using the Cpanel Fantastico application at your new hosting.
There are lots of instructions around, including voideos how to build a Wordpress Website. Many of them are free.

      Hi Gurus,

If I was to buy 100 websites over the next 12 months what hosting plan should I choose?

Is it possible to have all of them in one account?

At the moment I have 5 websites and they are all hosted with different companies.

      Please help.

      Thanks

You can certainly have them all on one account as long as you do not need different IPs or C: classes for SEO purposes.

Definitely Hostgator. For most needs, the shared or reseller hosting should fit the bill quite nicely. If you're driving really heavy traffic to your site(s) and/or doing a massive guru-style launch, then you might want to use its VPS (virtual private server) plan instead.

Run, don't walk away from Just Host! They are the worst of the worst. I just lost 19 websites at Just Host. My websites were hacked and they wouldn't help me clean them up. In response to my requests to customer support, they sent me links to websites with repair suggestions, most of which didn't work. Finally gave up and canceled my account.

Asked several times for a supervisor to call or email, but none ever did.

I would never host there, even for free.

I am sorry to hear about your experience with justhost. I've heard some pretty bad things about them, including their non-existent customer and tech support, but I had no idea they were this bad. I'm guessing you have now switched away from them?
