      Too bad all that traffic is coming from a site he/she doesn't own. Impressive numbers, but very risky in my opinion. They could pull the plug for any reason, at any time.

        Interesting. According to yahoo site explorer the lens has 3,023 backlinks when I checked just now.

        Lots of links from other squidoo pages. Including a lot of links from this person's other web properties (e.g flowskipix.com, freelancephotographerjobs.com and other squidoo lens he has created as well).

        It seems the main strategy here is an extremely well developed link wheel or "mini net" of tons of different websites linking back and forth to each other in a complex fashion.
