Question about far pay range for Indian assistant

Hello,

I am curious what basic online assistant jobs pay (in rupees) for a worker with his own internet access and moderate English skill. This means he understands English but maybe not well enough to write it perfectly.

Duties would involve data entry into Word, Excel, and similar online programs, as well as some research tasks

An idea of wages per hour or month for this type of online administrative job would be very helpful.

Thanks!

  • You know what Delta?

It's too hard to guess how much you will make. But I'll try to make it simple for you.

Let's consider Elance, which is a good place for telecommuters to start finding jobs.

On Elance, in the Admin & Support section (Going by the details in your post)

-- Don't bother with a free account because you'll take forever to get started.
-- Start with the $10 membership. You get 25 connects ( Think of connects as currency). You will need at least 1 connect to bid on a job there.
-- If you bid on 3 bids a day, you will be bidding on 60 bids a month (Assuming you work only M-F; and yes, you will need more connects which you can buy separately).
-- Assuming a conversion ratio of 10% which is reasonably fair, you will end up with 6 projects.
-- Again, assuming the minimum possible bid on a project which is $50, you are likely to make $50 x 6 = $300 on your first month.
    -- $300 = INR 13,626 (Today's rate).
    -- Make 5 bids instead of 3 and you make $500 = 22,710 INR.

The key is to keep bidding. Write great proposals. Keep your profile updated and well-written -- among other tricks.

Writing & Translation, as a category, tends to pay better. Web Design & programming pays even better.

    Hello,

I am not searching for employment; I am considering employing one for my data entry & research work.
