Obviously I know who many of the top women IMers are, but I am also looking to find information on some of the lesser known, yet highly skilled, female IMers. Suggestions?

    • Was just about to write that.

I would highly recommend that everyone here leech on to what that female offers to this forum....and, free of charge, none the less.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
    • Let me grab you a rag real quick to wipe up some of that drool....

      • [ 2 ] Thanks
  • Off the very top of my head:

Angela Edwards (High PR link packets)
    Sara Young (Amazon Affiliate)
    PaulaC (Another Amazon Affiliate)
    TiffanyDow (Squidoo Lens Flipper)
Suzanne (don't know how to spell her last name, but she's a site flipper)
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • I've already called dibs on stalking female IM superstars... find your own niche, pervert

  • I really feel this should be answered!

    • Kim Roche. Very clever marketer with a huge following.
  • If you asked me to name the top female IMers (in no particular order).... Tiff Dow, Maria Gudelis, Tina Williams Holly Cotter, Lisa Gergets, Kim Roach, Rachel Rofe, Jamie Mintun and Jenn Dize jump to mind.

And don't forget about: Amy Bass, Christy Knowlton, Edna Melendez, Jess Coolbaugh & Leanne King.

    • Thanks so much for including me in this list John! I usually keep my IM stuff a bit quieter since I have such a big mouth in the Offline Consulting but just working on getting my 3 teens girls rocking making some $$$ online now--got love the online stuff--no clients to deal with!

I have to chime in here though and agree with Willie Crawford: Lynn Terry and Rosilind Gardner are top on my list with Kim Roach right up there (new product is awesome). Tiffany Dow and Nicole Dean are just great too!

These women know there stuff and do it with the KLT Factor front and center --that's why I have my girls even doing their programs!

Good luck with your project--will look for it when it comes out!

      Tina, KLT Coach
  • Kim Roach has to have a shout in my books personally...
  • I'd have to second Amy Bass. Also, Tina Golden and Leslie Bogaerts.

    • LOL... It's ok, I am not stalking anyone (especially since I am a female too). I am putting together some information and wanted to do a few interviews. Already have some set up, but was looking for more ideas that I might have missed.

I'll pick 2 people that are outside of the typical IM world. Andy Jenkin's old business partner Audrey Kerwood knows or stuff. Also, Shirley Tan of American Bridal does as well. Both were in stompernet and built huge e-commerce businesses. I believe Shirley's was 20M per year before selling it.

Those are ladies that have succeeded quite a bit in the "real world' of IM.

    • Thanks for the replies so far... I had not thought of some of those and some are already lined up. Lisa, did you get my PM?
      • [1] reply
  • Kathleen Gage; she's not called the "Street Smarts Marketer" by accident

Janis Pettit is rising up there as well as Cindy Battye.

Good topic. Hopefully one day my name will be up there

  • @ Paul & Craig- LOL
  • Most of the top and my favorite female marketers I know have already been listed here.

By the way, I'm surprised no one has yet mentioned Cindy Battye yet. Really successful IMer and a great person too.

  • Do you mean REAL IMers? My vote goes to Rae Hoffman (aka sugarrae), you might not find her on forums (or even yes...on some) but she really is the "real" IMer
    • [1] reply
    • Nicole Dean would make for a great interview as well.
  • Being female myself, I've felt somewhat intimidated at times that there don't seem to be many women making themselves known in the IM world (although granted, I never exactly searched for them). The only ones I really could think of prior to this thread were Angela Edwards and Jennifer Ledbetter, so seeing all these successful women in IM listed out here is really encouraging! It doesn't make a huge difference in the end, but I would enjoy hearing some thoughts on IM from a female perspective more often. Thanks.
  • I've been a lurker on this forum for some time now, and must say Tina knows what she's doing

    • Jessica Alba could sell me anything!

  • Lots of great female marketers already mentioned. I'll add:

    Lynn Terry
    Rhea Perry
    Thea Swafford
    Jane Mark
    Rebecca Hagel
    Rosalind Gardner

Some of these ladies have been earning full-time incomes
online for a dozen years or more.

    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • I think ZapSEO, I think thats her screen name here; Judy. She is a GREAT copywriter and very much under the radar. She is awesome, and humble in her own right.
  • I've heard a lot about Angela Edwards, as her backlink packets are everywhere. I am yet to test them, but I would surely like to.

    • Some great names on this list. I'll add a few more:

      * Kim Standerline
      * Marcia Yudkin
      * Mari Smith
      * Alice Seba

      All success
      Dr.Mani
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Lol.. you are going to do partnership with them ?
  • Great list of names here. Maybe I'll start posting a new thread about successful IMers from our country.
  • Hey guys, thanks so much for including me

    What a great list here!

Some of my favorite IM gals include Maria Gudelis, Nicole Dean, Tiffany Dow, Alice Seba, Rosalind Gardner, and Carrie Wilkerson.

So many amazing women in the IM market

    Cheers,

    Kim

    • Wow I never heard of any of these people. Are any of them good with market research and niches. I am having trouble with that and need some guidance for sure!
I am new to Warrior and just joined the war room. Lots going on here but I am willing to learn anything!
    • This lady here is the truth!
      The Buzzblogger.
      Kim Roach, man.

Happy holidays Kim and everybody else!
      Vince aka makingiants

(Kim, I'm not stalking ya- just love your stuff
and the way you do what you do) [smile]
  • I will not mention others mentioned here although I do agree with many on here (all of them I have heard of before the others I will look up)

Kay King is one of my favorite posters here on the forum and her longevity and well thought out answers are always an inspiration

  • I would second Nicole Dean as my favorite.
But there are lots of others mentioned here too that get my vote!

    Peggy
  • I'd say most of those mentioned here but also Gina Gaudio-Graves. I had the pleasure of talking with her on the phone once and she was a WEALTH of information!
  • Heeeeellllloooooo - I'm not flashy and well known, but I got it goin on!

    • Woooo hooooo! You go girl!!!!!!!!!!!
  • I have to second Angela Edwards, Alexa Smith, Kim Roche, and Amy Bass.
  • One of the big marketers relatively new to the scene is fellow warrior Brittany Lynch.
    • [1] reply
    • I 2nd the nomination. Brittany's been in the game since 2002. She used to work for Google and is a PPC ace...google "Brittany Lynch"

  • Awesome list! This is very encouraging and motivating. Thank you to the members of the Warrior Forum, both male and female, for taking the time to add to this list.

    • I couldn't hardly believe it. Me I'm a guy but earning some few bucks only.

I should be ashame of myself.

Female can compete with guys... Yeah I admire them.

But there is another thing that they would actually lose in the game of.

and they can't compete w/ it... you know... some three letters and ends w/ "X"..

      Lol..

      cheers!
  • Add Marcia Yudkin from yudkin.com to the top of the list along with the others mentioned. You can check her impressive bio at http://www.yudkin.com/about.htm

Her newsletter and Paul Myers (not sure if Paul is female though) are two of three marketing newsletters I wait for and read.

    • Carrie Wilkerson rocks!

Also, Alexandria Brown (AliBrown.com) and Sheri McConnell of the Smart Women's Institute of Entrepreneurial Learning (SmartWomenInstitute.com)

Sheri McConnell is former founder and CEO of the National Association of Women Writers which she merged into SWI earlier this year.

I'm very much a do-it-yourself-er and so I've primarily bought infoproducts (digital and physical). But earlier this year, I decided to get coaching (for the first time ever) and chose Sheri as my mentor. I was HUGELY impressed and just can't say enough good things about her.

She also co-published my book under the Smart Women imprint.

If you gals are looking for a mentor, you can't do better than Sheri McConnell. She's on a mission to empower women to be financially independent because she believes that 1) being financially independent is very healthy for a woman and 2) when you empower a woman to be financially independent, you empower many generations to come.

You can check her out on Facebook at Welcome to Facebook

  • I know that a lot of people think "Internet Marketing" and driving traffic to a clickbank affiliate page is the only thing that comes to mind. There's much more to it than that.

When you talk about the TOP female internet marketers, the list should look more like this...

Ariana Huffington - Huffington Post (how does she get left out???)
    Catrina Fake - Flickr
    Elaine Wherry - Meebo
    IJustine - Blogger
    Michelle Malkin - Blogger

Oh yeah, and Kevin Rose - Digg (that's a joke...sort of.)
  • Me..........

    Oh snap, female. nevermind
  • Kim Roach is my favorite. She really delivers the great content in not only her products but also through her emails.
  • PotPieGirl....great girl!!
