Hi Warriors,
I want this thread to be read by all newbies In IM. I find warrior Forum to be a bridge to success in Internet Marketing. I salute all the warrior community for this charistma, and the williness to grow every one of us here. I would like the successful IMkers here to share their story, here and the specific focus should be on the many times there have been failure but they kept going. I honestly admire such a character, you burn 100 bucks but still have the courage to do it again. That is the true sprit of a WARRIOR that we should nurture here.An example is the life of Abraham Lincoln it was full of setbacks Just have a look:
1831 Failed in Business
1832 Defeated for legislature
1833 Again failed in business
1835 Sweetheart died
1836 Suffered Nervous Breakdown
1838 Defeated for speaker
1840 Defeated for Elector
1843 Defeated for Congress
1848 Defeated for congress again
1855 Defeated for Senate
1856 Defeated for VP
1858 Defeated for Senate
1860 Elected President
I know failure hurts but dont lose heart

When you think you are on a losing streak of late read this:

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
(low traffic, poor conversions, no money)
When the road you're trudging seems uphill
(fighting for Competitive keywords )
when funds are low and the debts are high and you want to smile but you have to sigh, Rest if you must
But dont you quit Internet Marketing

Internet Marketing is strange with twist and turns, all of us sometime must learn and many a failure turns about, when we might have won we stuck it out. Dont give up even if the pace seems slow
(Article marketers)
You may succeed with another blow!

Remember Success belongs to those who embrace hard work
(Write the content do the backliking, SEO)
And you may never tell how close you are
($$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$)
It may be near when it seems so far
So stick to the fight when you are Hardest hit!
(Be the WARRIOR)
It is when things get worse that
You must not quit Internet Marketing!

Thank you
Joe Njenga

  • Nice share...

If you are obsessed with your work then success will come sooner or latter. It was an obsession of Abraham Lincoln towards his work which had made him a president of most powerful country.

As we all know, every big success is a story of small failures.

    • Hi Joe

My favourite quote is by Confucius

"Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall".

      Fits perfectly, don't you think?

Moral of the story? ...Never give up...ever!

      good luck,

  • Great post, Joe. I like the way you amended the "When Things Go Wrong" poem. I'm into simplicity, so I've bolded the part of your title that really matters.

  • Well, I was feeling kind of bottomed out today and all of these encouraging posts have helped me feel a little better. What I did last nite was delete all of my old connections to poor websites and gurus. Today I'm starting over pretty much from scratch for the new year. With support like yours dear warriors, I'm moving forward.

    Blessings, Carole

  • We all need inspiration in life, and Joe you have certainly reminded us of this again, thank you.

There is a quote about failure that I keep close, just to remind myself now and again that I AM NOT THE FAILURE, I am just still waiting for the SUCCESS

  • It seems you would like to hear some pep talk Joe. You said you like to hear success stories. I'm one of the very few that went from rags to riches, and as you clearly stated over and over again, failing is part of the big picture. Failure is an integral part of success and you are right!

My story cannot be resumed in a few words, however I can tell you that I was a victim of a severe stroke+ massive pulmonary embolism 4 years ago and live in a wheelchair now and for the rest of my life with all my left side paralyzed.

I can walk a bit but not too far with an apparatus on my left leg but it's not a graceful walk.

Anyway, to make a long story short, I had to make 10's of thousands of errors over a period of almost 30 years to get where I am at today. Quitting was never an option in my life even in health.

You have the right attitude, but perhaps not the right tools or mentor.

    Take care,

    Bernard

    • Hi Bernard,
I am very sorry for your illness, I am a doctor and I understand what pulmonary embolism is and the severe consequences that come with it. I am truly inspired by your story that has gone that extra mile to prove that YOUR DISABILITY IS NOT YOUR INABILITY. this is what most of us need to understand and sharing your story here serves as a great example of a person who has suffered physically and Is still able to make it online. I know there are people like you allover the world, How I wish they could have time to read this it would truly inspire them, change their lives and give the a renewed hope that after all, all is not lost.
You are a great guy and I must say that your story has fueled a new breath of life to my Internet Marketing career and every time I will read it again and again.
My wish is people here can realize the enormous potential that is in the internet and exploit it to the fullest. Particularly people with disabilities should also here such stories to empower them and I think by doing this we will leave the world a better place. After all life is not all about $$$$$$ but empowerment in every sitution we face in our lives.
I take this opportune time to wish you a better future and I appreciate you so much. Yours is a story of a victor.
Thank you for sharing your story
      Best Regards.
      Dr. Joe Njenga

  • PERPLEXING DICHOTOMY: The Abraham Lincoln bit is inspiring, thank you.
Dichotomy is: Work Smarter, not necessarily massivley harder to achieve greatness ... something to consider. Success is driven by the belief in Abundance, hard work is a contributing factor, yet belief in success and making an investment in upskilling one's self also allows a revenue based outcome.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Thank you Joe...thank you.
