If you needed to make case today using Internet Marketing, you would?

Here's the scenario.

I need $1450 bucks by the 29th of this month to make my mortgage.

I've been working LONG (10 hour at least) days at this internet marketing thing and it's just not paying as well as i need it to.

Something has to change...

Here's what i need:

1. Instantly available money - think paypal, not clickbank
2. an average of about $140 bucks a day... from essentially scratch.
3. A repeatable system, preferably something scalable, but I'll do what i need.

Here's what I have:

1. A horribly unresponsive list of about 80 people in the photography niche
2. A decently responsive list in the infidelity niche, but they're pretty saturated with affiliate offers.
3. A neglected list of about 100 people in the fiberglass fabrication niche that have never been emailed other than a thank you email.
4. Great photoshop skills
5. Good html/CSS skills
6. Good photography skills
7. Decent video/editing skills
8. Good writing ability (and an utter disdain for it)
9. Common sense

Here's the avenues I've exhausted:

1. I've already sold everything I own and more on ebay/craigslist
2. I've been trying to get as many outsource jobs as possible, but it's not working too well.
3. I've pitched my responsive lists to the point where I think i may start losing people if i try to sell them anything else.
4. I've mowed lawns
5. I've painted houses
6. I've flipped things from craigslist and thrift shops
7. I've kept plugging away at this IM thing.

So... what should I do?

The only thing that I can think of that MAY work is writing a little 10 page report on an undecided (as of now) subject, creating a sales page for it, and posting it on craigslist for some instant traffic... That doesn't meet all 3 of my goals, but it has earning potential.

I'm lost here. REALLY broke. Collectors calling me every day. I've been unable to get a job for whatever reason, and I NEED to make this work. Please help.

I'm posting this response hoping someone with more know-how will jump in. It's not like you aren't trying and I, too, am in a similar spot as you.
You've got some terrific skills, though. I'm not sure where you're at in AZ, but if there's an ebay selling store, maybe you couls subcontract to take photos for ebay motor listings or for craigslist.
List your skills, etc, on craigslist under the resume section. And look in the Gigs section.
Hook up with a wedding planner or two to do photos and/or videos. I know, boring, but pretty profitable...particularly for copies and 'add-on' editing.
That's all I can think of right now...it's 105 degrees outside right now (1:45pm) and we don't have AC. Need to sit infront of the fan...aaaawwwwww

I certainly don't have a complete answer for you but how about this, perhaps to add some more income.

Do you know any local businesses who you could make websites for?

It's a good earner but the trick is getting the clients of course, I can't help too much with that as I have only just started taking this route myself and my first client was a parent at my son's school, so kind of knew him. He has his own carpet laying company round here and jumped at the chance when I asked if I could use his as a "practice" to make a website for. I offered to do it for nothing to gain experience, he insisted on giving me some money as well though and is very pleased with the results.

He had paid someone a few years ago a ton of money to make him a website which did nothing for his business so my proposed very low price £100 (around $200) was eagerly snatched up.

Most people offline do not have the same amount of experience on how things work online as you do, use that knowledge to help them.

        Hi Suzanne,

Did you notice that your sig reads at first glance like one long sentence -

Thanks for the idea. I will definitely be looking into this as well.

I actually do this part time for a couple of ebay stores already. Not so much for cars but more for items. Thank you for the idea though.

Regarding wedding photography, never again no matter how desperate I become, will I get behind a lens at a wedding.... haha.. Okay, that's not true, but holy crap if that's not my absolute last option.

Just a couple of thoughts, sort of combining offline with online... and please don't shoot me if you hate them

Okay... you said you have good photography skills, so I'm going to assume you have a digital camera. This idea will work even better if you have a laptop, as well...

Place an ad on Craigslist advertising a "This Week Only" sale on children's photographs. I'm assuming it's still nice weather in AZ (Arizona?), so you could create a nifty little sales pitch about how beautiful outdoor shots of kids in the summer are...

Offer to take 10/15 different poses, and place them all on a disc the parents can either use to print at home or take to their local Walmart/Walgreens/etc. to have prints made. Charge something like $100 for the session (check to see what going rate is first though).

You could easily schedule 2 of these sessions a day, provided you wrote a compelling enough advert. You could also make it a "Back To School Special", and offer discounts for 2nd and 3rd children.

Then, create a case study outlining exactly what you did to "Start Your Own Home Photography Business"; PDF it, upload to e-junkie (or something similar, sorry that's what came to mind first), and create a short sales pitch for it. Upload your sales pitch to your blog and add the Buy Now button, then pitch it to your photography list. You can also advertise it on Craigslist, and submit a few articles to EZA on the subject.

I don't know if that helps or not; but that's what I came up with just looking at the skills you had listed. I hope it does

That's actually a pretty decent idea! Thanks.

I've got more than enough gear to do that, I've been doing professional photography for about 5 years now so that shouldn't be too hard.

The problem is that there are TONS of amateurs willing to shoot stuff for free to gain experience, so it became too cut-throat for my taste. But I think i could probably find some takers for 100 bucks.

The summer here is about 115 degrees, and it's been rather humid lately actually. haha.. not exactly "nice" weather, but early morning pictures could make it happen. Although I'm not sure if school has started back up yet or not...

Thank you for the idea. I'll give it a go! I appreciate it.
