Make gMail much better with this free plugin!

Hey guys,

I stumbled upon this a couple weeks ago and have been using it. Its very, very cool and I just wanted to share it with you people!

Here we go: Rapportive

[Not mine and no affiliation - it's free!]

It is a Chrome/Firefox/Safari plugin that replaces gMail ads with some really cool info about the person from whom you're receiving the e-mail. You can also add notes, etc to remember something for the future or jot some important points down!

You can also add some other apps such as CRM, mailchimp, etc, etc.

    I feel that WF members must have just overlooked this free info. thread. I was curious being an avid gmailer that I am. I've never heard of Rapportive but I've just installed the plugin for FF, added MC as a widget, also connected FB & LinkedIn to Rapportive and GMAIL's looking awesome now.

    Be careful...

    You are giving yet another company (besides Google) access to your inbox and contacts list.

    You had better read their privacy policy...

    And then just hope that that company never has a security breach or rogue employee or other issue.

    How far and wide do you want to spread permission for third party companies to have access to your inbox and contacts list data?

      Didn't think about that Josh... totally valid point. I did read their privacy policy, in fact, but never thought about it in that way.

      I just got a little excited seeing the way it worked.
