Yikes I lost one of my fave domains...

I just asked NameCheap because I have only just moved all my domains over to them recently. They said they send out email reminder notices for expiring domains 45, 30, 15, 10, 5 days, and 1 day prior to the domain expiring.

How on earth can you then forget to renew your domain?!

I can't speak for Kim, but, I suppose if someone is managing hundreds of domains...one may just slip through the cracks.

If the domain expired during last two weeks it might still be available for reactivation. It is under Manage Domains > Reactivate Domains in NC's my account area.

We add all of ours in lists to google calendar and then make an appointment to send to everyone on the notification / email optins list, before that just used outlook / thunderbird calender, has never failed in many years and simple to keep track of when and who to pay, registrars emails can sometimes go adrifit and also you might forget to login and check your "portfolio" list on your multiple DN accounts

I've not been online a great deal recently and yes this one fell through the net

I have the renewals sent to my gmail account and guess who hasn't checked the account for a while

. It serves me right, I should have been on top of it but I wasn't. Needless to say I've changed the email over to the one I always use.

I'm gutted, the domain was www.perfectpartycakes.com and I was finally going to do something with it. It's been snapped up by someone else, I checked!

lol I should learn but I didn't, the same thing happened a few years ago with the first domain I ever bought

It was a dormant (so I thought), domain that I was going to use then flip, so no big deal
