The Challenge Recommended Essential WordPress Plugins

I've been recommending The Challenge (formerly the Thirty Day Challenge) for quite a while as a way to get one of the best (free) Internet Marketing education programs available. It is just one incredible program!

Today, they came out with their recommended list of WordPress plugins on their blog at:

The Challenge « The Challenge

They are split into four categories: SEO, Utilities, Accessibility & Site Layout, and Sharing & Social Media.

That's great and all, but no need to send our forum members to another site. All you need is right here in this fporum.

Check out this thread for starters:

And a search would result in many more threads about needed WP plugins.

I agree that the all-in-one threads are great ones! And I've gotten a number of really good ideas from them.

But like many threads on the WF containing useful information, it is very time consuming to find and search/sift through these threads in the hope that something useful will result. There is too much of the "great post", "I agree", etc. type comments that have to be waded through to get to the gems.

Additionally, seeing a recommendation for xyz plugin without explanation (like many that are posted) is more like "you go do the work and find out what it is all about."

Do a search for "wordpress plugins" both on this forum and on the Website Development forum (and yes, I did before I posted.) I think you will find very little information that is obvious from the results.

We all have different styles of research, and mine is I want the information succinctly put and easily/quickly found. And it is nice to have some confidence in any recommendations as well.

The information above has actually been *tested* and found to be what they consider to be essential for Internet Marketing WordPress sites. I have yet to find them putting out any false or misleading information in the almost three years I've been following them.

So I think it is worthwhile letting the WF know about them .

Thanks there are a couple there that I haven't heard of before and I'm always interested in anything that will improve my blogs. I found that useful so yes it was worthwhile letting the forum know.
