Amazon Affiliates - have you found having great graphics increases conversions?

I have been making some amazon review sites and doing the graphics work myself. I'm not really that good at graphics work so I've been keeping it simple. However I'm wondering if great graphics increases conversions.

Let me know what you think of those graphics or if you think better graphics may increase conversions. I just like these simple ones because it keeps it simple, and clean looking. Interested to hear your thoughts though.

    You’re site looks great!

    I’m also a big believer in having a nice looking site with graphics. I put a lot of time & attention into making my amazon sites look really nice. When someone lands on a site that looks attractive & has nice graphics, buttons & text they’re more likely to stay on your site & have a look around.

    I know for me, when I land on a dull, plane site that looks very poor & out of there quick. All my sites convert well & I believe it’s mostly down the design. I do all the design work myself as it’s something I’m quite good at & I want a really nice finish.

    Honesty your site looks good, I’ve seen some absolutely terrible Amazon review sites, more bad than good. Well done in putting the time & effort into building a good looking site that people will enjoy using.

    Graphics do increase conversions. Period.


    Your site looks much better than the average IM review site I've seen Now all you need is some good review content to go along with the look!

      Yeah,, i agree with others, your site already good enough than any other IM website, just now focus on filling your website with good content. (your website indexed already though )

    Just to pick up on something Danielle said about your product review/content. what I like to do is while I'm building my site I'll outsource the content to some article writers.

    Just when I've almost completed the graphics & built the site my writers have finished writting up the content. All I then need to do is paste in the content & the site's ready to go.

    Everything just comes together, ready for Google to crawl & index the new site.

      I believe the OP is talking about the overall graphics on the site and not just "product graphics".

      Now focus on adding content and get site ranked. Later when you get visitors track them. Check your bounce rate. I have on 1 of my sites same theme. I had my bounce rate 75-80%. It was very similar to yours. Very white. So i changed it a bit. Added more colors. Made it look more profesional. Added some star ratings in excerpt. And bounce rate dropped to 30-40%. But you can worry about that later. Add content and get it ranked 1st.

        Yes the quality of the graphics helps a lot. Pictures help spur impulse sales.

    I like your graphics alot. I think simple, clean looking graphics are the most effective (in my experience anyway).

    They enhance the site by making it look more professional, but at the same time don't distract the visitor away from the content.

    Well first off I'd suggest using your own graphics.

    I purchased the same WSO, and all you really changed was the header graphic... I'm not going to post a link to the site that you ripped off, as it should only be for those who purchased the wso.

    I've made a site with a similar layout, but created my own graphics.

    $10 and you could get someone on fiverr, to do you a header graphic, and your own buttons and title graphics.
