Hi,

When a site is in the "Google Sandbox" does it mean the site will not rank in any search for a particular keyword?

Or, does it mean, if I do a search for site:mysite.com, it does not show up in the index.

I have a site that was in the index, but now isn't when I do the site:mysite.com search on google.

Can anyone tel me if I am in the sandbox or screwed altogether.

    You are not permanently screwed but you might have some issues with duplicate content on multiple sites linking to yours or a flood of backlinks all at once. Keep submitting a variety of backlinks like: articles, forums, blog posts, videos and so on to get Google to put you back in the index.

    Make sure you are doing anchor text for your keyword/s that you are targeting. Come update the forum with exactly how you fixed the problem.

    Your site may be listed again, if you keep on building it with original content. But it is going to take at least 6 months to a year.

    I know for sure, that all of your links are removed from google, don't know what to say regarding the ranking.
