Use the videos to funnel traffic back to your site or sales page or squeeze page. So at the end of the video, have a call to action. If you are using YouTube, then add the url to your site in the beginning of the description area. Other video sharing services like vimeo allow you to have a clickable link directly on the video itself so they can click on it and get taken to your site instantly.

If done well video marketing can be an powerfull arm in your SEO arsenal. Of course it would depend on which keywords you target with your videos and how they rank within youtube itself and also in Google. To get the most out of your video marketing campaign I recommend you to distribute your videos(in case you aren`t doing this ) to the top video sites. This could be easily done with the help of tubemogul dot com which is free to join.

I have heard but never tested a theory that commenting on youtube helps your videos a bit. What made me think this could be a possibility when I heard it was that youtube is a social network and the more you participate the more people trolling youtube will see you and come check out your page. That is at the very least.

Businesses who think of Video Marketing as "Marketing A Video" are generally trying to build brand awareness for their company/products. This is done by giving viewers a taste of the brand or concept in a concise package that can travel anywhere and that is designed to be shared. Taken to its extreme a video will be so compelling that it will market itself and you have created the elusive viral video. For this reason, these types of videos are generally more about entertainment and less about explanation.

I started using video a lot about 2 months ago and it's made a huge difference. Way more powerful for seo than articles or any other backlinks as far as I've seen. I just use quick little powerpoint videos with information on something related to the niche I'm marketing and then focus on the keywords. Quantity as opposed to trying to make one video go viral. I'll even outsource the video creation or buy pre-made packs.

Video marketing is the best way to go! It's the cheapest way to go and easiest too. For a little bit of time you can get a good amount of hits. And its easier to get on the top of google rather than articles.

video marketing is now getting popular.now people prefer video than reading articles. many people are now trying to convert their articles into slides and uploading them in youtube too. think now we can get tutorial of autocad very easily in youtube. but if i try via books or articles it will take far more time.

I think I am going to have to go down the video marketing road and see what the results are. This thread has made me realise I don't know what I am missing and I know the power of youtube.

I definitely think it is the most entertaining way to market for yourself and to your potential customers.

I have a question to post to everyone, I have been using video with wordpress for a while and have had good success. Here is my issue I want to start using a video sitemap and instead of embedding code from youtube, I want to host the video on my site, so when I get the video ranked in the serps the person clicking on my video comes to my site instead of going to youtube first.

Ok so here is my dilemma.

I have always embedded the youtube code, and I use to use a service called cincopa, but they charge you per view on your videos, and if you were not paying attention to your traffic, your videos would shut off if you ran out of money.

So what I am looking for is the solution to putting a video on my wordpress sites. This is propably very simple, but I have wasted days trying to get this to work, can someone please tell me what to do. I want to be able to create videos which I know how to do, but upload them to my own site on a video player. There has to be a plugin for this. I did put a flash video player on my site, but all it places is a link to the video like a pop up.

I want a video player on my site, like what you get with youtube embed code. This is propably simple, but can anyone tell me or give me a link to a video that shows how to put a video/ video player on your wordpress site, that does not cost per view.

I have been reading and tons of people says its easy to rank vids up in youtube. I dont get it? How do you do that? I know its based on comments and ratings and also views but? I got one vid which has almost 5000 views and lesser than 30 comments. BUt other than that? WHat can i do to help?
