Need opinion on a customer. Scammer or Honest?

INTERNET MARKETING

This woman purchased my WSO today, and asked for a refund because she said she nor anyone in her home bought it.

I was going to issue a refund... Until I saw the purchase information on Warrior Plus.

5 downloads from 3 different ip's.

I wouldn't mind issuing a refund if the above picture wasn't unsettling.

Her paypal is also unverified.

What do you think. Is she the Scammer or the Scamee?

It's best not to dwell on it, just refund it and try to move on. Don't let some idiot ruin your day over $14. People like this are part of the business.

  Yup, me too. Back in the old days I had a run of people who would ask for refunds literally within minutes of buying whatever it was so you know they were just getting it for free. It's enough to make you want to stick your head in a blender sometimes.

  Anyway, as mentioned above - refund it to them, try to watch out for them later down the road, if at all possible, especially if you do another WSO...

Seems suspicious... Better would be to hand over the issue to paypal with that snap as proof and let them decide ?

  You can implement software that actually prevents multiple downloads from various IP addresses. Actually, there was a warrior offering a free plugin for this a few weeks ago, I'll see if I can locate it and add it to this post.

Actually the different IPs are a good sign that her PayPal was compromised, the user is quite possibly using proxies. Its very common for those with no anti virus to get their paypal accounts compromised. I would just go ahead and do a refund, you wont win the dispute anyways on an unauthorized for digital delivery.

On another note this is a big reason that I use Plimus and have dropped PayPal. If their IP doesn't match where they are supposed to be it is manually verified by the fraud team before the transaction is approved.

Also serial refunders and chargebackers are banned from the system which is awesome. I get 1 chargeback every other month as opposed to PayPal where probably 1 in 15 or 1 or 20 do a chargeback.

Paypal has got a lot to answer for!
But like what as been stated, it is suspicious that there are three different i.p's.
Just refund.

Refund if there is any possibility that it was a stolen card.

Could be a scammer processed payment on someone else's card, then shared download link with friends.

I would keep an eye on the torrent and free download sites in case your wso appears on any of them.

I would just give a refund and forget it. There will always be people who will try to take advantage of you.

Is it really worth the headache for you not to refund? Karma will bite her in the **s, it always does. move on to better things than getting hung up on her.
