Hey Fellow Warriors;

I have been averaging 1k visits per day to my blog for over a month now. IT actually fluctuates as visits do from 1300 to 950. Any thoughts on how I can get to 2k, 4k, etc? I mainly do article marketing and have great on page seo. I have done little in terms of social networking and the like. Any help is much appreciated.

Post on relevent blogs once you have set yourself up with Google Alerts. If you are one of the first few posters ( with relevent info, not spam), you should get some visitors from your posts.

Go to the Search Engine Optimaization sub forum and read up on backlinking, as you did not mention that. You will learn about many other ways of getting traffic there.

It sounds like you're doing great. I would just keep doing what you're doing and amp it up a bit. It should snowball as you build more articles and the old articles remain.

Sell & market $500 - $2000 products and you can get there
    in 4 sales or less.

...you're not missing anything selling products less than
that and, I believe in you and i think you deserve to create
that kind of income -- especially with the kind of traffic you
    generate a day.

I've generated far less traffic and easily generated $2k in a
    month - no sweat.

Look into a few high-paying affiliate products. Give it a shot.

    Double your efforts. LOL.

What I would do, is spend time writing. Maybe a new 20 articles on your own site, make sure they get indexed, and keyword rich for long tailed keywords. Spin those articles, market them to drive additional traffic.

You aren't using social media? Start using twitter... you could pick up some decent traffic if done right...

Yeah, who woulda thought right? It may sound so simple and stupid but it's the truth. If whatever you have done and are doing now has created 1000 visitors per day then do it again or double your efforts. The only way you are going to increase that number of visitors is by doing more and more of the same thing. If it ain't busted (and it doesn't sound like it is) don't overcomplicate things.

Whatever you did to get to 1,000 visits per day just double it. Personally, I like to keep things simple. If it's not broken don't fix it.

Check your analytics for the keywords with most hits. Usually a few keywords will be bringing most traffic. Then create a lot of content about and related to those keywords.

Best thing I can say is to check your stat analytics first if the visits are organic or from spambots. Only after you can plan accordingly.

Do you have Google Webmaster Tools set up? If so here is a neat trick to get you some more Google space.

Look for the keywords that are bringing you in traffic, and then make articles about focusing on those keywords that are bringing you traffic. I do this quite a lot on static sites, and after a bit of internal linking to these new pages, I always see an increased amount of steady traffic from Google which is always awesome.

Don't get caught up in the trap of churning out content for the sake of it. Put effort into your pieces, and if you have been building your list (you should be) then send the link to your new post to your list. If the writing is good enough, you should get plenty of shares on social media and this will in turn increase your traffic a lot.

    Yeah

Try PPC and do a bit of Youtube videos for some viral marketing.

But paying for some traffic will get you there in no time but might not be the best strategy if you want to keep it organic.

2011? Way to dig up an old thread mdminhaz.

I just had to answer with a smart-ass answer though:
    Double whatever your currently doing.

Hah but seriously... marketing is key. Where are you advertising? What does your SEO plan look like? Are there cross-products/markets you haven't explored yet that you could reciprocate with? Having a plan is key though. I'd start there.
