I personally like hunting for forums and get such and such person to do work for me.

I just had very inconsistent work done from a few services and its just not my thing I guess.

My number one is Odesk.com I have used freelancer.com as well but I seriously dont want to hire anyone from there again. I like Odesk better, customer service, quality of contractors is way, way better.

      Andrea,

I have had one drama with freelancer.com, so know what you mean there. But I have founds some good workers there, it takes a bit of hunting around.

I have alot of my team on elance these days, that place there rocks.

I actually give them rewards, and bonuses for doing good work. Just try that and see how good the results are! That works like gang busters for me.

I love being a general in the army and delegating, rather than a solider in the trenches!!! :-)

I still say Warrior forum is the best place to find outsourcing workers.

        • Fiverr, for sure.

But just about anywhere can be an outsource resource if you keep your eyes and ears open. If someone writes in an engaging and personable style, why not take the initiative and fire off a PM? Perhaps they have something more to offer you than 300 words in a row. And you them.

Freelancer sites are like beauty contests and I suppose that's part of the appeal, but I like making my own finds and doing deals. It's all about working with equals -- somehow preying on a team of third-world homeworkers just doesn't cut it for me.

          YMMV, of course.
