Lead magnet: 1 PDF book or 3 videos

I'm producing my lead magnet (not IM or MMO niche).

But what is best:

1 give away free ebook.

or giving access to 3 videos in seperate times (e.g. like 7 videos of Mike Dillard).

    You should test it.

    In theory the 3 videos sound like more value. But you have to test your particular audience and see what converts best for you.

    Why not do both and then the offer will have more perceived value.

    Some people learn via Video and others via reading.

      So you mean 3 videos, and 3 little ebook versions of these videos (I mean transcrptions)?

    Send half your traffic to one offer, and half your traffic to the other for a week. If you do that you won't have to rely on opinions from people who for the most part havent a clue.

    I would do videos. They always have a higher perceived value.

    Let them watch the first video for free, without any obligations from their site. Do some sort of cliffhanger in the end, that creates the feeling that they HAVE to watch the next video...

    Which (who would have guessed) is only available after opting in. This will dramatically boost your conversion rate.
