I Just Recieved A $60,000 Investment.
I recently posted a thread in the WF stating "I have the best Ideas in the world, but no money to make them happen!".
I took all of the advice I recieved from you guys and girls and went in search of an investor.
I can honestly say, this is much easier said than done. I signed up to a few angel investment networks and started writing my proposals.
The problem is:
How do you effectively 'sell' your idea without giving it away for free?
Hopefully, I can now answer this for you:
1. Have an idea you truly, truly, truly believe in. Investors will sense your passion and it can make or break your proposal!
2. Get legal advice and try to protect the core aspects of your ideas.
3. Sign up to as many investment networks as you can and submit your proposal.
4. Get personal. Clearly explain why investors should believe in you.
5. Now, the hard part. Try to explain your ideas as vaguely, yet as provocatively as possible. I find it best to present your ideas as a question,as this won't reveal all of the important details, but get investors thinking about the opportunity you have presented.
6. Be picky about who you reveal your ideas to. Ask for as much information as possible from your potential investors to make sure they arn't wasting your time or trying to steal your ideas.
Below, I have pasted a section of the proposal thread I submitted to an investment forum, which helped me to get in contact with many potential investors and secure a deal. I'm still looking for more investors, but it's an awesome start.
Feel free to use it as an example.
Good luck with your ventures!

A Little About Me
I'm a 22 year old University drop-out turned entrepreneur. I realised pretty early on that I hate working for other people, I was born to be my own boss and I love teaming up with people who feel the same way.
I've started a number of successful on-line and offline businesses:
- I was one of the first people to import and supply Twinkies to retailers in the UK.
- I launched a website script called mp3venture, which recently sold for $2000 (not bad for 2 months work).
- I currently own and run a website in the music niche that recieves 10,000 unique vistors per day and generates a healthy income.
I will be the first to admit these are small ventures, but I hope they demonstrate my capability to succeed.
The Ideas
I have revealed a few of my ideas in the past and had them ripped off. So I have taken some precautions. All of the ideas I am about to present have already been partly developed. I have also spent a lot of time and money legally protecting the unique fundamentals behind these ideas, so copycats and clones be warned, I will shut you down.
To avoid giving too much away, I will present these ideas as questions to get you thinking and gauge your interest.
Idea 1: What website do you use to list all of your internet profiles (facebook, twitter, WF, etc) in the same place so that others can easily connect with you?
Idea 2: What service do you use to find available 'exact match domains' in order of their global searches per month?
Idea 3: [1 Invester Found] Where do you go to have your website reviewed?
If you find it difficult to answer any of these questions then maybe I am on to something.
PM me if you are interested in investing or email me:
