Uptime Robot? Has Anyone Tried this Monitoring Tool?

Hi Guys,
Has anyone tried the uptimerobot to check if your website is up and runnning. What is your experience and does it slow down your site cause it checks every 5 min?

    I can't imagine it's a significant loading factor.

    There are a lot of these up time monitors out there, usually offering basic free service with email notifications and paid upgrades with more frequent checks and SMS notifications.

    Try take a look at pingdom (www.pingdom.com)
    The biggest ping/monitoring service available, used by a lot of hosting companies as well.

    Have been using pingdom for quite some time, working brilliant - does not slow your website down.
    Love the free iphone app

    Note: It can be used to monitor single websites, mails, servers etc.

    uptimerobot does not work.. my site went down and didn't do anything. pingdom is awesome but you have to pay for its better features

    my vote goes to pingdom also.. don't know the one you mention though..

    pingdom is even free for 1 site to test..
