Compiling Articles into ebook for torrent upload

I have used articles from article directories to flesh out my websites. The resource boxes and any backlinks where always kept intact.

Would there be anything illegal or immoral about combining articles into a ebook (with resource boxes and all links live), adding my affiliate links, and uploading them for distribution to torrent sites?

Never done that but I think there shouldn't be any problems.

Let us see what others say.

Regarding the legality, you'll need to check the terms of service of each article directory from which you've sourced content to syndicate, regarding permitted and non-permitted syndication uses.

By submitting their work there, the authors have all consented to it being re-published in the forms and on the terms permitted by the site's terms of service.

I don't know whether/how often these typically include publication in e-books (because I've never looked), but certainly if they don't, then you'd clearly be breaching copyrights. (And from my own perspective, that would make it immoral as well as illegal).

I just looked at the ezinearticles.com, publisher,s TOS (Terms of Service For Publishers Who Wish To Reprint Any Content From EzineArticles.com).
It seems the only possible issue with using them with torrents is section 1f

"Agree to not put any of the articles found on this site to any web site that also contains warez, illegal mp3 or other files, instructions on how to make bombs or steal, or expressions that promote hatred or profanity or racism or bigotry, or contains pornography or exploits children or animals or any human, or any other unlawful activities."
